I worked at Pacific Pulmonary Services full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

I can't think of any pros right now

    Cons

under new management. New management took over and laid off over half of the entire company. They are changing directions and will no longer be patient focused. Their service model will suffer. Nothing will set them apart from the competition.
New management doesn't value work ethic, only looks at numbers.

I worked at Pacific Pulmonary Services full-time

    Pros

There aren't many pros here except for the people who are passionate about patient care.

    Cons

Leadership was a disaster, decision making was slow and cumbersome. Not sure what new owners will change or if they will improve operations.

    Pros

They pay halfway decent but there's no career opportunities. What you make starting out is the max.

    Cons

Unorganized and treat employees poorly, especially within the compliance department.

    Advice to Management

Treat the people below you with respect.

    Pros

    Awesome coworkers (at least some)...

    Cons

Management had no control over their employees. Management takes favoritism and disowns other employees, making them feel unappreciated.

    Advice to Management

Stop picking sides and treat all employees the same. When an employee is showing disorderly conduct at work, then you need to actually handle it appropriately.

I worked at Pacific Pulmonary Services (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Some of middle management is tolerable

    Cons

Worked there for over 3 years as a top sales rep and never met anyone in upper management. There is no company culture, you are just a number and it is obvious pretty quickly. There was minimal upward mobility on sales side, cannot speak to ops side.

    Advice to Management

Take better care of your employees, they will work a lot harder for you.

I worked at Pacific Pulmonary Services full-time

    Pros

Some good hard working employees. Pay was good. Paid holidays and vacation time was good. I really have nothing else good to say about this company.

    Cons

Horrible management, people being fired for other departments mistakes. Over worked just to come close to sales goals. It's all about the numbers and not the patients. Human resources for this company will find a reason to fire you if they don't like you. I was done very dirty!

    Advice to Management

Communicate with your employees. Stop hiring management with degrees and start hiring with the experience.

I worked at Pacific Pulmonary Services full-time

    Pros

Mismanaged to the point there were low expectations
    Flexibility to adjust work schedule

    Cons

Unreasonable expectations from management about things not related to the job. For example, asking permission to get water or use the bathroom, told not to go to lunch with certain people, timing my breaks, not allowed to talk at times, having to stay past 5PM when all work was completed, not allowed to take breaks at desk, not allowed to lean back in chair, need desk to appear to be messy for the “image” of appearing to be busy, bad talking other managers so that I wouldn’t trust them, wanted me to respond to high amounts of emails in 30 seconds or less. There was no career development, pay raises or career advancement opportunities. Expectations would be retracted after a while, but a new highly unreasonable expectation would take its place.

    Advice to Management

Treat employees with respect and reconsider the effects of asking people to do unreasonable things, even though you it might be later retracted. Employee moral is still permanently damaged after the fact.

    Pros

It's a job to go say you go to daily

    Cons

The head supervisor in okc is very timid won't handle employees the same plays favoritism toward certain people. Not very professional and doesn't manage employees paperwork in a timely fashion.

    Advice to Management

Hire people in management that knows how to deal with employees and doesn't show favoritism toward certain employees.

    Pros

I have nothing good to say about this company. I was treated like garbage and my experience there was horrid. I cannot believe they are still in business.

    Cons

The sad, wilting culture, unscrupulous ego filled leadership, employees are treated like they work in a sweat shop, indecisive outdated out of touch HR, and disorganization at every turn. Do not try and think for yourself here, you'll get smacked down and reprimanded mercilessly. Quite possibly the worse employment experience of my career. I do not recommend working here if you have half of a brain.
