    Stressful and unorganized company.

    Pros

The employee discount is great. The management team within your own district acts as a support system when things get tough, which is beyond refreshing since district managers do anything but support. The company has innovative ideas, but rarely is able to push them into motion successfully.

    Cons

If you have a great, supportive District Manager, then your experience may be different. However, I had a District Manager who informed me that a death in the family does not call for coming into work an hour late (using personal time mind you). This same DM also informed me that school is not important to any employee and that store managers who are truly dedicated to their business would be in on their days off. Mind you, there are no days off because as a store manager you are constantly in your store finishing the tasks that you couldn't complete the day before. The expectations are just absolutely ridiculous with the amount of hours that you receive on a weekly basis. If an employee gets overtime, it's a HUGE issue...however most stores are running on a two manager staff - if that, due to constant turnover. There is no work-life balance, and it isn't unusual for a store manager to contemplate sleeping in their store to finish a task - I've personally done it as well as two other store managers who were in my district at the time. Upper management sets you up for failure and is the first to complain when something goes wrong. This company really needs to evaluate how much time a task takes to complete and figure out how that goes hand in hand with servicing customers. They also need to understand that as younger individuals, we would like to have a life outside of Pac.

    Exciting, customer oriented and high-maintanance.

    Pros

Naturally there isn't really a dress code. But my absolute favorite part is how much we get to focus on the customer experience. Some customers honestly appreciate your opinions, take suggestions and leave feeling satisfied with their purchase and more comfortable with returning. Especially in the summer. Management typically tried to coach any relevant talent that wants to move up and take business management seriously. Opportunities are there and can be taken as long as you express it. Also, the pay is great!

    Cons

I work in a tier 2 (1.2-1.5 million/year) store and ops are very heavy. More so for upper management. As with any corporate retail store, the DM/RM/HQ have massive expectations and make no exceptions to traffic, time it takes to recover or any operational errors. They are however kind of lack with going over on payroll and giving hours as long as you have a strong and motivated selling team.

    Pros

The vision that the company has in place is clear and a very good one....

    Cons

Unreasonable expectations and not setting up for success.Limited payroll hours and pointless executions that are either required to be re done or canceled. I haven't had a working store phone in months.

This is a job that teaches you valuable skills particularly in customer service, sales, and cash handling that can be utilized in future endeavors.

    Cons

The lack of hours and repetitive work such as folding clothes for hours on end.

    Pros

Friendly co-workers, had a group chat to keep in contact with everyone including seasonal workers. Great job for teens looking to earn extra money since the hours aren’t terribly long for holiday shifts.

    Cons

Standing on your feet for 10 hours at a time. Picking up after customers and setting up displays when new merchandise comes in.
