    Pros

    - The Discount they give o associates is awesome!!! - You are given the ability to track your sales and see the difference you are making in the store - The other sales associates (at least the ones that I encountered) were all very nice genuine people - The company is forever changing and evolving

    Cons

My problem with this company was not the company itself but the management team. I was one of the top sales people at my store who rarely ever missed reaching their sales goal and worked countless hours to help make our store the best it could possibly be as a sales associate. What I got in return was disrespect and put down's the management of the store if I were to not be able to reach my sales goal, and constant criticism even when I was doing my job. My store manager was so rude and disrespectful that every assistant manager since she has become store manager at her store has quit the company.

    Pretty terrible

    Pros

Discount Has the potential to be fun Fake good vibes Learned how to strike conversation

    Cons

Catty managers/gossip/harassment (A manager got filed harassment on for making mean comments on me: I had no idea) So. Many. On-Calls (you have to clear your day for nothing most of the time) Managers only take care of themselves and expect unrealistic things from you (you should have your doctorate in selling clothing and be comfortable saying 'Hey, random shopper! I know you're super stress by our loud music and crowded store, but please take these clothes I'm giving to you'- that thing. It's super pushy. Insincerity: the managers are super condescending and want you to ask questions about anything to do with the customer. I really don't care what school a 14 year old goes too. But smile and nod. Low pay for a super stressful job: $8.10 They make you feel obligated to fill in for a person at the last minute, but when you have an emergency they're super unforgiving and won't acknowledged you. You're whole life should revolve around Pacsun. The managers make you feel worthless and as if you need to kill to get your next shift. Bombarded me with hours when I specifically asked off. No online schedule portal, nor can you phone call in for your schedule. You have to go into the store to get it. Not worth it. Stay clear or you'll trap yourself.

    Pros

You receive a good employee discount because the company wants its employees to be wearing its clothes. I believe it was 30% off in general with 5 items 50% off per month, with variations depending on the month/season.

    Cons

You're at the whim of the store manager. It was discovered that I was more efficient at organizing and tagging shipment so I was forced to remain in the back every time I worked. It was incredibly boring and I was unable to socialize. My manager was particularly strict and wouldn't even let me work shipment at the counter.

10 years strong! And I still love my job!

    Pros

The culture, the energy, the passion, the fashion, the customers, the product, the ability to be creative, the FUN! = succuss! PacSun has been great to me. We get to create great customer connections and develop our support manager and subordinates to be successful within their positions.

    Cons

The management review process could be improved and some of the technologies that are available to us are out dated. For example: Having to handwrite our Zone sheets (which contain a lot of information) and managements reviews. There are no workshops availabe to the support managers.

Live to Work. Unless you want to marry retail. DO NOT MAKE THIS YOUR CAREER.

    Pros

Pacsun prides itself on encouraging store managers and district managers to have 'ownership' of the business. if you have good positive management you will get good positive results. As a young Single college student this is probably one of the best jobs you'll have and some of the best times. Hours can be consistent if you are a hard worker and are willing to work an irregular schedule. The discount and products are top tier. If you're fashion forward and really want to be ahead of the curve with your clothes and shoes this is the place to be.

    Cons

For anyone in management, this is one of the most difficult companies to work for. There is poor communication from Operations and HQ, and there is little to no training. Unless you enjoy teaching yourself, this Job will stress you out. the company does not allocate enough hours in the day for their Teams to complete tasks. This puts stress on all levels of store management. Operations is condescending and send superfluous marketing making most promotional updates a guessing game. Regional management seems to be out of touch with how much they ask of their stores. There is also an unsaid peer pressure to work off the clock to accomplish perfection.

    Pros

Friendly people, hard workers, great environment. The interaction with others felt genuine and authentic, people there just had an appreciation for the process

    Cons

Unorganized, top-down, and little attention to detail. Managers at times did not communicate well with employees and did not make an effort to boost morale
