There seems to be somewhat of a disconnect with the new structure of the company between District Managers, Regionals and Store Managers. There is little to NO work/life balance; your basically TOLD exactly what schedule to work during Holidays and expected to work EVERY Saturday. Floorsets are very time consuming and wasteful of payroll. The company is coming out of bankruptcy, and still seems to have allocation issues when ordering too much product, and then watch it sit and not sell, eventually to mark it down to 'buy one get one free'. District Managers are frequently in stores, but are VERY 'hands-off' and do more of telling you what problems they see, but not offering much help with finding solutions. Payroll is completely unmanageable and unacceptable with the company's expectations; many times it is one part coverage and/or not enough when it is busy and customers are messy, yet not enough hours to call more associates in.
