I worked at PageGroup full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

The Company has an amazing fun environment, full of young employees and result oriented. We worked with smart peers and well graduated. The job was pretty nice and well recognized. Great Culture, good benefits and compensation package. The impact of the company in the market is huge! We can make money!

    Cons

We worked hard, most part of the time, I spent more than 50h/week on job. The merit was not clear and very suspicious.

    Advice to Management

The management is more result oriented than people oriented. Many problems grows because this perspective.

    Cons

Management, poor bonus structure, no work/life balance, micromanaged environment, you have to account for every hour, glass ceiling.

    Pros

Not much other than the training.

    Cons

Very cut-throat, they make you work extremely long hours, everyone yells at each other, they don't prioritize work-life balance at all! Culture is stressful and harsh!

    Advice to Management

    Respect your employees more!

    Pros

Very few; while they still have a formalized training program those who run it turn over constantly and it loses value.

    Cons

Awful hours, management turnover, lack of knowledge and historical success in the US market, non-commission based (unheard of in professional staffing), "discretionary bonuses" non existent, entirely too social a culture rife with drinking and drugs. Primarily though, Page has never been profitable in North America in almost 20 years and that should indicate something.

    Advice to Management

Stop rotating in foreigners as senior management, hire successful US-based recruitment leaders. Americans who have been with the firm for 15 years do not count.

I worked at PageGroup full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

You'll learn how to interview other people and how you can interview better yourself. You'll learn how recruiting works.

    Cons

Management isn't very great. Unless you're in the new grad program the training is not extensive and the expectations are high. They set high performance requirements which get monitored even if you're 2-4 weeks in the job.

    Advice to Management

Teach your team to work together

    Pros

Worked for Page Group for almost 10 Years. Great people and vacation time.

    Cons

The downside was that I got laid off with no notice at all.

    Advice to Management

Advice would be to make the employees more aware of what is going on
