    Pros

    A market compatible salary and job security

    Cons

    pace of work is really very slow, there is no grooming and no such opportunities to move forward based on your performance. Company's focus is only on production and it does not pay any heed to employee satisfaction, employee motivation, job enrichment or providing the basic necessities of life. Necessities are considered a luxury.

    Advice to Management

    Improve on points mentioned above

    Advice to Management

    - Develop openness to listen to people down the line and consider thoughts and ideas shared.
    - Two way appraisal should be introduced so that how managers are managing should also be evident.

    Pros

    Pakistan petroleums limited has been ranked as premium oil and gas E&P company in Pakistan. It has maintained a reputation of being the only national company that compares with Internaltional standards of working principles and remuneration packages.

    Cons

    Most of its reserves are in areas belong to teaditional tribes, that demands inclusion of local work force in to business. Sometimes it leads to reduction in work quality because of the above reason.

    Advice to Management

    Management should arrange for adequate training of local manpower prior to be inducted in the main business

    Attractive and competitive salary
    very good living environment as there is no boss culture on field work but there is somewhat in headoffice

    Cons

    Poor Management
    not much to learn or get polished because no body will individually help you to learn.you have to learn everything about the plants etc by yourself

    Initiate some steps to help understand the new trainee engineers about the plant and help them to understand the basics concepts and thinking behind the plant setup

    Very good rise in salary, less burden from management. Full technical environment and no corruption found in technical staff.

    Cons

    Rotation is long and man power is much short.

    Promotion policy and rotation need to revise as per international standard.

    Good salaries, no pressure, secure job, no accountability

    Cons

    nothing to learn, too much bureaucratic mentality at top, very very strong and active grouping culture..

    Advice to Management

    sir please try to look whats happening with people who are not part of any group/cult.
