For new officers initial few months may be difficult to work at different locations. This is changed when officer has enough experience to start a regular site with a weekly setup schedule.

I have been working at Paladin Security Group full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Paladin is an employee first company that really invests in their people, whether it's training and development or through their commitment to employee wellness through offering various employee services and amenities. Paladin is a company that believes in promoting from within and those that put in the work are rewarded both in compensation and in responsibility. Being with the company over for over 7 years, I've received strong mentor-ship from senior leadership and have been positively rewarded for the work that I've put in which is all I could ask for. Paladin has really changed the public perception of a "security guard" to one of customer service professionals who are all around intelligent, skilled and high performers.

    Cons

As the company continues to grow and expand, it needs to remember to stick to it's core values and ensure that front line employees are continuously supported.

    Advice to Management

    Never forget your roots.

I have been working at Paladin Security Group (More than 5 years)

    Pros

For such a large company, they really have a way of giving a family-feel. It is fun to go to work every day, especially knowing that the company stands by their promotion-from-within mission.

    Cons

Not sure. They are growing really quickly, which could cause issues down the road.

    Pros

Nice group of people, benefits are ok, learn new software program,

    Cons

Low pay, supply your own coffee, dark windowless room to work in, no weekends off, you sign a contract to stay for a minimum of 6 mos or you pay back you wage for training.

    Advice to Management

Make a better work/life balance for employees, management takes forever to make any decisions or changes with schedules, they say you will get an assessment after your probation and possible raise which doesn't happen

I worked at Paladin Security Group part-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

This is a great job for a student or unskilled worker to make a living. They will work with your schedule and match you with a site that is reasonably convenient.

    Cons

When there is an opening at your site, you may advance to a supervisory role, but the internal competition for openings is steep. I applied for several positions in different departments that were a better fit for my education and interests, and was never successful.

    Advice to Management

As a security company, I would expect better computer security as regards passwords and the use of operating systems that are not vulnerable to exploits. I also found the work culture to be misogynistic.
