I have been working at Pall full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

You get to work with people from all over the world, and you work on some pretty unique technologies.
The place is getting more energetic with some new people joining.
Customers are very loyal, which is good for job security.
People really care about doing their jobs well.
    Cafeteria and gym are nice.

    Cons

Commute to work on Long Island is tough in bad traffic.
    Cost of living is high.
Hours can be long. Some people really care and work long hours. Depressing when others sprint for the door at 5, to sit in traffic.

    Advice to Management

    Offer more internal promotions.

    Pros

Friendly work environment and great support from co-workers. Work from home when not on the road. They have great benefits. There is Opportunity for advancement

    Cons

You do have to travel a lot but other than that I really don't have any cons. I would how ever rather of had a car allowance instead of a company car.

    Advice to Management

The management team is great, they are very supportive and are always there to help if you need it. I wouldn't change anything.

I have been working at Pall full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Honest and collaborative work culture. People are looking to grow the business and learn better ways to achieve the win along the way

    Cons

Work life balance can be a challenge at times but most are willing to accommodate non-work requirements. The company is going through a large transition with the new owners and though there is definitely a brighter light at the end of the tunnel, it's a long hard steep path that will be difficult to achieve.

    Advice to Management

The order is ready, aim, fire... Not ready, fire, aim. We need to spend more time on requirements and less time on rework. This can be said for both customer facing as well as internal company processes.
