I worked at Palm Coast Data part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Close to home. Work is easy and looks good on your resume.

    Cons

Pay is laughably low compared to similar jobs in the area. Hours are part time, but spread out over five days per week in the middle of the afternoon, which made it almost impossible to get a second job. Did not feel valued as an employee during my time there. The turnover rate is astronomical... I was the longest lasting employee out of my training group, and I quit before I hit my six month anniversary.

    Advice to Management

Offer employees a decent wage and an incentive to actually stay, rather than investing time and money into training people who could make more money working at a fast food restaurant.

    Pros

Low stress, they work with you on hours, very easy, generally nice coworkers, good to have on resume, as long as you ask in advance you generally can get days off

    Cons

low pay feel very insignificant and replaceable. Very very boring, have to work saturdays or sundays, the incompetence around you and the lack of caring can affect you negatively

    Advice to Management

Maybe work on some of the problems that can be found in the system

    Pros

If you turn in your resignation you can get a decent raise if they want tom keep you.
It was 5 minutes from home.
You can move up the ladder.
Did I say it was close to home.

    Cons

    Awful management, rude,misrepresent the facts.
Your walk on water review gets the same percent raise as workers who under-performed.
Way underpaid on virtual every position whether IT or not.
No 401K payment match from company.
They cut severance package by more than half for me from 24 weeks to 10 weeks.
They stop your insurance the second they let you know your let go even after just getting out of hospital and being there 24+ years.
    I did not get a review for last 7 years,nor a raise.

    Advice to Management

Be way more fair on salaries. Give even a cost of living increase yearly.

I have been working at Palm Coast Data part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

When they are busy you work 10 hour days and sometimes saturdays which is both a con and a pro but pro bc your paycheck is big. You can use headphones. Unless mistakes happen tgen tgey take those away. Absolutely NO CELL PHONES in the building. (This is very difficult with children)

    Cons

Work gets so slow you may be lucky to work 20 hours for an entire month. When I was hired I was told 7 hours 3 days a week. I think I only did that for 2 weeks and then they didn't even ask...they told you to come in...10+ hour shifts. It's crazy. No windows and no talking. Very much like working in a sweat shop. Pay is not worth the hours you will put in when they are busy and they don't acknowledge hard work either. Favoritism is shown to the full time workers even though they are slow and bring down production.

    Advice to Management

Be FAIR! Recognize those who truly work hard and put it in the paycheck. Not everyone works the same nor do they deserve the same 8 cent increase after 1 yr. Don't TELL your part time employees they NEED TO come in on days they weren't hired for but ASK if they want the extra hours. It should be a choice. Explain in detail to future employees what the job hour requirements are instead of LYING and then changing hours, days, etc after someone is hired. It's not very polite to the person looking for what they THINK is going to be a nice job. Maybe find a building with some windows so you don't have to state at grey metal walls all day.

I have been working at Palm Coast Data full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

There is a new challenge every day, if you like variety

    Cons

This company has NO growth potential. They continue to lose clients, and continue to lay people off to try to manage expense. Resources to get the job done are all over loaded. Employee morale is terrible.

    Advice to Management

    None. They don't listen anyway.
