    Pros

    Freedom to make decisions that work best for your team. Not a one size fits all leadership style because Executive Leaders know that every department has different needs Great Flex/Vac benefits Paid Lunch/Free Lunch - although the food during lunch lacks more healthy options. Friendly, accessible, and approachable Senior Executive team.

    Cons

    No rewards, recognition, or raises for dedicated and high performing salaried team members. HR Policies change like the weather All news is LATE news - changes were heard through the rumor mill before anyone heard it from leadership. Insults intelligence.

    Advice to Management

    Take care of your salaried team members too, they feel undervalued. They drive the hourly team members to success and get no recognition. A formal "Thank you" goes a long way.

    I worked at Palms Casino Resort full-time for more than 4 years

    Pros

    The renovation is nice. The property looks great afterwards. Team Members are trying to keep the place afloat even without the support of leadership, because they care.

    Cons

    Lack of direction. Palms is trying to create an identity but under Station Casinos, it’s failing. The team is confused... so many great people leaving or being let go so they can keep the ones that are great only at managing “up” and those in it for themselves and not the team members. There is so much instability in this place. Their GM/AGMs are shuffled around here and other Station Casinos, you can never keep up...

    Advice to Management

    Stop the internal hemorrhaging. The team members need leaders that support them and care. They will burn out and leave because you failed to listen them. They are the true heart and soul of the place.

        Not enough hours, can not survive on on-call work. Need consistency.

        Great environment, good discounts on all of its properties, you get to meet a lot of people.

        Cons

        Little to no opportunity for growth, low salary, overworked, no recognition of good work. Lack of ability, or will, of management dpt. to identify and resolve problems.

        The people and environment is very friendly and professional. They really try too take care of all the employees!

        Cons

        The change is management to Station Casinos has been hit or miss. Lacking transparency when it comes to long term planning and it seems like the communication between executives and regular management is non-existent.

        Pros

        Great place to work, the company takes care of their employees. They have department engagement daily morning meetings that keeps you up to date on what's happening.

        Cons

        Management can use some work communicating with employees. Nothing out of the normal, every company has its flaws but over all a good company.
