Compensation and benefits are good. Great products. Like the vision of the new CEO and where the company is going.

No regular promotion Employee hardwork is not being recognized even though they say so. Pressure is being passed from the top to the front end employee. No Work life balance at all in some accounting and finance teams.

Great place to work and learn

Jun 4, 2022 - Sr Technical Support Engineer in Plano, TX
    Recommend
    CEO Approval
    Business Outlook

    Pros

-Compensation and benefits are fantastic -Employee culture is great, people want to succeed and want their peers to succeed -if you work hard you are rewarded -From my experience your opinions are actually heard by upper management -you interact with many other teams and get high exposure/opportunities to learn from those avenues of information

    Cons

-401k program needs work compared to other orgs -Growing pains - many avenues of information but very dispersed. Often programs and tools which might be beneficial go missed until you stumble upon them -work life balance is encouraged but difficult with amount of workload but is getting better

    Pros

    - Great pay and benefits - Work culture has been improving over the years - A great place to get work experience if you are early in your career - Great for internal mobility

    Cons

    - Work/life balance can still be a problem but has been improving over time - Fast-paced. Deadlines are very tight, and much too aggressive at times

May 13, 2016 - Anonymous Employee in Santa Clara, CA

    Pros

RSUs appreciated when i first started Close to my place - commute is <30 minutes Open kitchen filled with snacks Easy access to cafeteria downstairs Co-workers are friendly and nice

    Cons

Middle management has no understanding of how things work since they were hired from old dinosaur companies like Cisco No work life balance in finance or accounting especially during quarter end People who hardly do any work get all the credit while the ones who actually do the work do not get any recognition No chance of promotion despite putting in the most work out of the team Inability to manage the headcount growth of the company No support from managers until the process breaks too many times Put in a situation you can never win since the numbers keep changing on a constant basis Ageism

    Culture is on downgill

    Dec 11, 2022 - Engineering Manager
    Recommend
    CEO Approval
    Business Outlook

    Pros

I think the company has good potential for growth and there are still some good people around. Plus if you are interested in the cybersecurity space it's a good learning experience.

    Cons

The culture, at least in the net sec group has gone downhill rapidly. The huge influx of former Cisco folks who have brought their culture here has caused many of the long time employees to leave. There is no culture of collaboration any more, just politics. No focus on customer needs, just shipping something low quality to get a good review and promotion and maybe leave. Work life balance is gone as low quality deliverables lead to fire fighting all the time instead of proper engineering and planning.
