Beware of the FP&A/Corporate Finance teams

      Dec 1, 2020 - Finance

      Pros

*Some smart, nice people in the organization *Pay is market

      Cons

*This review only applies to FP&A, unfair to comment on the rest of the company, as it is large and seems like engineering/sales/marketing orgs have an infinitely better culture than finance *Beware; those at the director level and up have no interest in promoting or developing junior staff. Frequently leave junior staff out of meetings of any real importance *Hours and work life balance is horrible, weekend work and late nights are a commonplace *No training, work is expected on day 1 with little to no context *Join if you want o.k. pay but a dead end career

Lies and Deceit about Pledging 0 Layoffs

Jul 10, 2020 - Senior Marketing Manager in Santa Clara, CA

      Pros

There are some great people that work here but it's usually a revolving door for them.

      Cons

The CEO came out pledging there would be no layoffs during Covid-19. My coworkers and other teams employees are getting cut left and right. So instead of laying off good working, talented staff, they're simply finding excuses to fire them instead. Everyone on my team is spooked on who will get axed this time. Toxicity is rampant and HR is a joke. There's so much toxicity at the company it feels like a high school backstabbing story. When you report these occurrences to HR, you become a target as a potential whistle blower. HR here is not looking out for employees, they're there to protect the company's reputation. Be prepared to have 0 work-life balance. You'll be worked until your eyes are strained from staring at the computer for so long because the executives decided to make a last minute change which you have to stay up all night for.

      Cons

Bad systems in place lead to additional work. Work life balance will take a hit.
