It is a well known company, you have the ability to make good money. they offer quality products, they offer good customer service.

    Cons

You are required to sell a certain amount of products in a certain period of time, some of the products carry a short warranty.

    Pros

The company strives to please all their customers.
The phones are busy, making the day fly by.
Job stays in the office, nothing to bring home or work on at home.
    Great Benefits for part timers.

    Cons

    Difficult to earn promotions.
Live phone calls are monitored- Can be intimidating at times.
Summer days off are difficult to schedule and get approved.

    Advice to Management

Some, not all, management team members don't realize that people have a life outside of work. Very little flexibility with the evening work schedule. If you work the evening shift, better not have kids because everyone else has kids and limits any flexibility with schedule changes.

I have been working at Pampered Chef full-time

    Pros

Management is very open to new ideas, looking for ways to improve processes and continue to move the company forward. The leadership team seems aware that we are in a different consumer environment than ever before and as a company we need to continue to innovate. Flexible work schedule is great and there are genuine and welcoming people on all of the teams.

    Cons

The open floor plan is helpful, but there is still room for improvement when it comes to open communication between departments.

    Advice to Management

Keep pushing for innovation and continue to listen to your people.

    Pros

This place is on the upswing. Attitudes are good, management is bringing in better hires, and it's starting to be fun to come in each morning. We have input on our projects. First time I'm working in Agile and it's the way to go. Open source tools and starting to migrate to the cloud. CEO is easy to talk to.

    Cons

We need to hire a CTO. I think things will start to gel once that happens. It's taking a long time to find one. Not sure why. They say they are being selective which I guess is a good thing.

    Advice to Management

Keep going with the open communication. Free coffee would be nice. Hire a CTO who will match the new open offices with a positive vibe.
