I have been working at Pampered Chef full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

I love Pampered Chef!!! I have learned some great skills about myself from working as a consultant. I have also net some great people along the way. The fact that you can bring joy into people's kitchen again put a smile on my face and in my heart.

    Cons

The only con of this job is running into people who claim that they don't cook anymore and then turnaround and buy a product from the competitor.

    Advice to Management

Keep upgrading the products and bring in more spices.

I have been working at Pampered Chef as a contractor (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Unlimited opportunities to grow in the business

    Cons

No serious cons but would recommend home office to reconsider the rules for inactivity for consultants who may be temporarily disabled. See advice to management.

    Advice to Management

Recommend company reconsider rules regarding consultants who may be temporarily disabled. I had a consultant on had to purchase a new kit to restart the business because she was inactive due to temporary disability which meant she lost her career sales and commission level.
