    Pros

Many different opportunities to gain knowledge in your profession (learn more about VMI operations, import/export) and etc, Management is very nice and caring, very polite and it was so interesting to learn about Japanese culture and try many Japanese candies, potlucks were great and also there is a lot of support from the peers and management in emergency situations so you know you work in a team.

    Cons

Well, some employees were difficult and could displace their anger at others but it happens everywhere, company cannot really do anything about it but I wish these people change their attitude... and understand that their attitude affects the work of their peers and subordinates.

    Advice to Management

Please keep recognizing your employees for their work, it's great!

Little opportunity for advancement, not a meritocracy, skills can atrophy if you don't actively work against it.

    Advice to Management

Make and support products consumers and businesses want, listen to the consumer, leverage new technology effectively

With multiple business under the Panasonic umbrella, an overall vision and strategy that can be understood and used to motivate the employees needs further development

I worked at Panasonic full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Respectable compensation and perks, stable work environment, and a strong respect for work/life balance. Great company to work for that believes in investing in their employee's happiness, wellbeing and success.

    Cons

Compensation is respectable, but less than what their competitors are offering. A bit of a disconnect between the Global HQ and N.American divisions, which can create challenges.

    Advice to Management

Know that you're most valuable employees that impact your bottom line are worth paying for. Don't lose the best to the competition - it's like tripping over dollars to pick up pennies.
