    Pros

    Good pay, bonus, benefits, people..

    Cons

Upper management expectations are not realistic. They always look for fall guys when they make mistakes on their plans. Process is a heavy burden. They over complicate everything. This could be great place if they removed some of the people at the top.

    Advice to Management

Quit looking for someone to blame. Look in the mirror. Develop plans that are reasonable.

I have been working at Panduit full-time

    Pros

Most people are very uncomfortable with change and that is the reason for some of the poor reviews. Panduit is going through lots of changes and all are for the better long term. What is happening in the DeKalb facility has happened in the others already. The Lockport facility went through, and continues to go through, many of these same changes. Sometimes it's hard to step back and look at what's really happening when you are in the middle of these changes. People feel as if these are personal a tacks and they are just business decision and the correct decisions. A year or so from now the atmosphere and culture in DK will change and these other biased reviews will disappear. Panduit is going through many of the same changes a lot of American manufacturing facilities are in order to stay competetive. Hang in there, have a positive attitude, and trust in your leadership. They didn't become a billion dollar company by not having a clue what they are doing.

    Cons

Sometimes there is so much change at one time that it is overwhelming and the atmosphere becomes toxic. During this period it is hard just showing up to work. The negative people will it her get fed up and leave or will work their way out of a job with their ngativity. At that point you will see things turn around for the better.

    Advice to Management

While Panduit has done a much better job at being up front with employees their is still work to be done. Stay the course, take care of your employees and they will take care of your customers and yes profits. I've been in each of the facilities, have talked to a lot of floor personnel and it is easy to see, hear and tell which managers/supervisors care about and take care of their employees.

I worked at Panduit full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Some departments and business units have strong and capable leadership, if you are fortunate enough to work in one of them. Decent pay, good benefits.

    Cons

Top level leaders are manacled to an old paradigm that's been in place since the company's founding. Management practices haven't moved with the times.

    Advice to Management

Clean house at the highest level..

I have been working at Panduit full-time

    Pros

stable company, OK benefits, schedule pressures are minimal

    Cons

management is very slow to make a decision. The company focus is all about sales and not developing new products. The engineering groups are turning into all product managers and program managers who are not open to any new ideas.

    Advice to Management

Go back to the company roots as an engineering and manufacturing company.

I have been working at Panduit full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

The people who work here are great. Most have been here for a significant amount of time which, to me, means it's a great company to work for.

    Cons

Company is going through a transitional/growth period and there are many things that can be construed as "up in the air". However, I think everything is moving in a positive direction.

    Advice to Management

Listen to the employees. Panduit conducts a lot of employee surveys but I'm not convinced that they always interpret them correctly.
