I have been working at Panera Bread (More than a year)

    Pros

pay above minimum wage, great coworker environment, free drinks, good food discount, pay biweekly

    Cons

I worked there for two years and never got a raise or promotion. I was asked to train new people without getting promoted to trainer. I am not bragging when I say I was one of their best dinning room and dish workers, everyone else was subpar. I worked very hard. I am ok at cash but I can train in all three positions. I am leaving due to lack of promotion and raise. My previous Panera was a corporate store and I would have had a raise by now but I had to move and Franchises have a smaller budget.

    Advice to Management

Give raises and promotions to those who have earned it.

I worked at Panera Bread part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    - Decent hours when you wanted them

    Cons

    - A lot of standards that leadership expects of you but fail to to follow themselves

    Advice to Management

    - Just because you run out of towels for example, don't hang up old ones to dry. It unsanitary

I have been working at Panera Bread part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

There's good pay (but you negotiate for yourself), clean environment relatively free of hazards, half off of meals, and kind of flexible scheduling. The staff at mine has mostly been there for several years, so they must be relatively happy with it.

    Cons

Worst and rudest customers, long grueling shifts (8-9 hours, 5:30am-3pm), understaffed so that you have to run several stations alone, and other workers seem to be insanely competitive and will purposefully embarrass each other and me in front of customers. Lastly, training never actually happened- they just put me in right away and I figured it out. My third day I opened the store alone.

    Advice to Management

Support the front more, hire more people, and train better.

I worked at Panera Bread full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

There wasn't any pros at all.

    Cons

EVERYTHING! If you're thinking about working for the Panera Bread in Conyers Ga .. DON'T! For the year and a half i worked there they were the MOST unorganized company always running out of things & constantly having people yell at us because we don't have something.. Management sucks , they are irresponsible, they never give raises at all or even do evaluations for raises.. everything is based upon who they like that's the way you get hours & more money.. i wouldn't advise anyone to work here or even think about it I'm surprised they're still open smh they work you hard & you barely get paid.. the scheduling is all messed up they always tell you you can't get overtime or even 40 hours a week but will give 40 hours to somebody they like more than you , it's full of drama just not a good environment.

    Advice to Management

    Do better!
