I have been working at Panera Bread part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

People are cool, not too tough, positive environment . Being a cashier was a little scary at first but I got the hold of it after a while. After 2 weeks I felt confident .

    Cons

Some customers are wipes, may get out late depending on whether or not your supervisors is really good and knows how to manage his employees and help out.

I worked at Panera Bread part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Management was authoritative, positive, and concerned for staff needs. Besides that, generally speaking, the managers were reasonable, staying with company policies, but not overly pushing them on workers. Dress code is fairly simple: beige pants, black or brown belt and matching shoes, and a polo (t-shirt with a collar) of a reasonable colour. The other workers were decent, though with the number of employees required, not everyone got along. But in summary, I would recommend Panera as a workplace, including to students as a part-time position like mine. Scheduling and day-off requests are simple enough.

    Cons

The quick and attentive work environment may be a con to some, though I did tend to enjoy it. So long as one is doing one's job properly and efficiently, it shouldn't be an issue.

    Advice to Management

Keep all staff working to full potential, watch for hard-working individuals and consider them for higher company positions withing several months, and always emphasize positivity.

I have been working at Panera Bread full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

You get exercise everyday from carrying heavy tubs of dishes and coffee/tea urns.

    The discount is awesome.

Always something to do, very rare for there to not be something.

    Pay is good

    Cons

Doesn't give the full forty hours that we are supposed to work for full time.

If you don't have hours you don't get paid good.

They only give a lunch break that only lasts thirty minutes. I at least need a ten minute one too

They train you at other stores before you continue at the one you applied for. Learning a whole new store sucks.

    Advice to Management

Give the people that are available to work the hours they said is available and don't skimp on it.

I worked at Panera Bread part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

The quality of the food. There's not many healthy "fast" food options out there so it was cool always having something good.

    Cons

Hours weren't very flexible, and as a part time job that was hard.
