I have been working at Panera Bread full-time

    Pros

Great place for learning how to move up within a company. If your willing to work it's a great place to be.

    Cons

Too many managers are outside hires, I believe it is because we hire mainly students who don't see this at all as a long term job, therefore there's no ambition to move up. Also I have seen blatant nepotism.

    Advice to Management

Hire more people in their late 20s early 30s and less 18 year olds.

I have been working at Panera Bread full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Scheduling is very flexible and the work is fairly easy. Every day you can learn something new and there is lots of room to move up into the company. You also get a lot of experience with working in a fast pace environment, and management is nice.

    Cons

One big problem is the way people are trained as workers. Every employee has their own way of doing things and while that's ok, it's not necessarily correct. It gets difficult when you work with someone who isn't willing to adjust their style of work. This isn't managements fault, more or less just people taking short cuts.

    Advice to Management

Keep a close eye on newly trained associates so they can become great workers.
