I worked at Panera Bread full-time

    Pros

Builds a good work ethic, lots of different tasks so you don't get bored

    Cons

Management was disorganized at times, a lot of employees were young and did not want to be at work/called out a lot

  3. "Pretty good for food service job"

I worked at Panera Bread full-time

    Pros

Lucked out and had a really great, professional general manager at this location but he’s no longer working there. The job is easy enough but there’s so much employee drama, it’s pretty draining. Overall, for a food service job not bad.

    Cons

Alot of gossip and drama. Sometimes management will play favorites.

I worked at Panera Bread full-time

    Pros

Learning and working with various equipment and techniques to ensure quality goods, very fun working independently and great co-workers

    Cons

it was opening so long hours are expected, but when a 6 hr shift turns into a 14 hr shift OFTEN for 6 straight weeks and management (which is separated from bakeries management) is unaware or appreciative. it was a growing concern

    Advice to Management

refill band-aid and emergency first aid kits more frequently , more awareness to employees needs

I worked at Panera Bread part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

The best thing about Panera's training is the time they take. They also offer a computer module training that is really great. They have supportive staff that are open to any questions. They also offer flexible offers for training as well.

    Cons

There is only one con to training. That is the fact that you'll be training on shift, meaning that rush hour could put a halt to any assistance you might get during the training.

    Advice to Management

It would be great to incorporate an employee get-to-know meeting in the hiring process.
