I worked at Panera Bread full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

I was given the opportunity to be an opener for the bakery and I found I really enjoyed it and did very well. I also found that I excelled at the "meal upgrade" part of my job as cashier.

    Cons

Sometimes I wasn't given enough hours. It was disappointed because I am reliable, can work independently and was always willing to help.

    Advice to Management

Hold on to the workers that show up, don't call out and are available. Give hours to those employees.

I worked at Panera Bread part-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Really fun when you have great coworkers and the time passes very quickly. Most of the customers are pretty friendly, fun to know the regulars. Good first job. Values of the company are great.

    Cons

Some problems with management. Not very great pay. Got worse as prices increased and they got rid of some customer favorites. Pretty rough when there's not enough employees.
