    Pros

There are no pros. Unless you want to have no life. Be expected to answer your personal phone at all times off or not.

    Cons

The list is too long to list. Expect long hours no quality of life. Sexist environment. Expect to use your personal phone for work 24/7. Limited days off. Less than normal staff. Turn over rate beyond what's expected for food and beverage.

    Advice to Management

Pass on the job. Lots of room for growth as long as you sleep with the right people

    Pros

Coworkers are great, pay is pretty good, food has genuine effort put into making it good and good for you

Managers are horrific- lazy, RUDE, don't care at all about Panera values or their workers, let the store be filthy

    Advice to Management

    Get fired

I worked at Panera Bread full-time

    Pros

Nothing at all. Not after being fired for a criminal charge that I did not even knowingly commit.

    Cons

Everything about this organization is a joke
The company talks about employee first and that everyone matters. But the first hint of you might have done something wrong they fire you. Don't even care about loyalty, work ethic or job performance.

    Advice to Management

Try getting employees that want to do their jobs for cheaper.

I worked at Panera Bread part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

discount on food was a lot, around 60% I believe.
Got to bring home baked goods sometimes for free at the end of my shift

    Cons

so much work for very little pay, they cross-train employees but I barely worked the cash register. Had to do a ton of work.

I worked at Panera Bread part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    -free drinks every shift
    -discount on food
    -free first meal
    -30 minutes breaks
-celebrations where you try new food coming into the store

    Cons

-Put in multiple stations instead of just one as said in job listing
    -short of staff constantly
-mistreated and misunderstood when it came to work availability
    - rude management
    - never told where RO sheet was
    -training was rushed
    - forced to smile otherwise you get strikes towards getting fired
-having to deal with unfriendly customers in a fast busy work place
-not allowed to take many sick days , especially if you have an illness.

    Advice to Management

Be nicer to your workers and if you're going to fire someone , don't blame it on them for taking too many sick days and for your misunderstanding of their availability ( especially when they are a student at the time)

Discount -managers eat for free up to $10 a day

    Cons

    No work-life balance

    Advice to Management

Treat your team more kindly, and less like corporate drones. Even your general managers do not want to come to work.

I worked at Panera Bread full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Closes at 9pm. No fryers or grills.

    Cons

Crazy work schedules wich includes closing abd opening at 5am the following day.

    Advice to Management

It's great if you're a GM, but all AM's get taken advantage of the company.

I worked at Panera Bread full-time

    Pros

Was a great concept to work with before 2014-ish.

    Cons

Company has degraded internal values and firmly put profit first over employees. They built a national concept on the backs of believers then turned around and turned into exactly the opposite of what everyone was invested in. It is no wonder that all of the influential upper echelon of Panera left in a mass exodus.

    Advice to Management

Find a job at a company that cares about you.
