I worked at Panera Bread part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    Daily tip and mileage pay

    Cons

You don't only work as a driver! When you aren't driving you buss tables, make coffee, tea, restock, cut fruit, run food, take out trash. Basically you do everyone else's job it's like their under staffed. To many drivers barely make anything in tips.

    Advice to Management

Raise pay or get rid of (lower) delivery fee. Hire more workers for cafe help.

Great food and manager meals. Training is extensive with a year of learning how to manage food costs, labor and such. Good schedule.

    Cons

Archaic reports, too many reports filed daily, not enough autonomy, some unprofessional from the top down.

    Advice to Management

Update so higher ups can check reports on individual stores. Actually management training ie, books, workshops on how manage properly.

I have been working at Panera Bread part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

People are cool, not too tough, positive environment . Being a cashier was a little scary at first but I got the hold of it after a while. After 2 weeks I felt confident .

    Cons

Some customers are wipes, may get out late depending on whether or not your supervisors is really good and knows how to manage his employees and help out.

I worked at Panera Bread part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Management was authoritative, positive, and concerned for staff needs. Besides that, generally speaking, the managers were reasonable, staying with company policies, but not overly pushing them on workers. Dress code is fairly simple: beige pants, black or brown belt and matching shoes, and a polo (t-shirt with a collar) of a reasonable colour. The other workers were decent, though with the number of employees required, not everyone got along. But in summary, I would recommend Panera as a workplace, including to students as a part-time position like mine. Scheduling and day-off requests are simple enough.

    Cons

The quick and attentive work environment may be a con to some, though I did tend to enjoy it. So long as one is doing one's job properly and efficiently, it shouldn't be an issue.

    Advice to Management

Keep all staff working to full potential, watch for hard-working individuals and consider them for higher company positions withing several months, and always emphasize positivity.

    Pros

We are a team, and everyone looks out for each other. Panera also sells food that you know is healthy, fresh, and good for the customers to eat!

    Cons

Its pricey, but that's because you're buying food that is actually good for you.

    Advice to Management

Keep your cool, it's busy and people get angry, but you guys do a great job!
