Full of LIES!
Dec 12, 2016 - Marketing Junior in Islington, EnglandRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
ABSOLUTE NONE! THERE ARE NO PROS!
Cons
All they do is lie to you! it's not marketing, it's door to door sales! you get promoted only in your dreams. you spend almost 12 hours a day hoping you can sell at least 4-5 a day so you can get that 12.5 commission. it's not even 15 anymore. Why do you think they always recruit people? Because after 2 weeks, everybody knows what they actually do. and all the transport and all the food you have to buy yourself. I have personally seen a lot fo the " managers " and " team leaders " go on every website from 12 to 3 and put a lot of these reviews, i was fooled by them too. I hope you get shut down!

Pros
Exposure to International Market. Working under pressure and Stress and Abuse.
Cons
Lala management No empowerment or delegation. VP can not spend Rs 5000 or more without the promoters permisson. Attrition rate of 50 % per year. Employees have a shelf life and not attrition rate. Highly unethical management practices Variable pay is just a mirage. No one gets it. He is kicked out when the variable pay is due. do not agree for more than 6 months of variable pay. Every employee is asked to submit a daily sheet of what they did irrespective of the level. No systems and processes.

Pros
High income potential (which is a lie) Chance to become a CEO (from starting as a door to door seller) in 4 months
Cons
Went for an interview. Lasted all of 3 minutes. However the Ceo (one of like 20 that the company has as there is no seniority) showed me the different departments you would go into.. As if it was a real graduate scheme Then I surprisingly got a call from Orinta asking me to come back the next day for an "open day" from 11.30-8.30 First of all the process started 45 mins late. Each person was paired with a "leader". Then we had to pay for ourselves to accompany them on their work day. Which was actually just following them around while they cold call people's houses in different areas and try to "suggest" that they use their product. This carried on until 3pm when we had to pay for our own lunch. Then I got told as a "junior marketer" (just a door to door sales person) you get £250-350 a week.. Catch is, it is 100% commission based. That's right, £15 per person that you get to use the product. So they want you to roam the streets from 10am-8pm Mon-Fri and potentially earn nothing (most people don't want to open the door to salespeople.) their theory is that for every 100 people you harass, 6 people will purchase. So that's a lot of walking for a totally unreliable income. Also, the "graduate scheme" isn't time based and you just complete their financial tasks and you move up the ladder. They rush you through the program qnd it was not how it was advertised at all. Oh also they say you can become a CEO in 4 months and manage your own branch "anywhere in the world"... The staff are disillusioned themselves. Felt pyramid-schemy to me and I left before the end of the day. Waste of time and money going.
