I have been working at Papa John's (Less than a year)

    Pros

    Easy work AND easy money

    Cons

Management uses you as much or as little they need. No full-time. Over staff shifts then cut according to sales so you may not make anything if its slow.

I have been working at Papa John's (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Great Discount, fast paced, and flexible scheduling

    Cons

All weekends are holidays are work days with no holiday pay, salaried employees get no compensation for working more than the required hours and no sick days. bad insurance options but all cons are based on a franchise so it varies depending on owners

I worked at Papa John's full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Core Values by the CEO were excellent. Benefits were OK at best. I enjoyed working with our customers (store managers)

    Cons

Unfortunately, middle and low-level management did not follow core values laid out by the CEO and upper-level management

    Advice to Management

I blew the whistle on a technology issue after being ignored for 6 months and was fired for inappropriate behavior

    Pros

Papa John's was my first REAL job and when I first starting working as an in-store I loved it. Short shifts but still received plenty of hours. Lots of room to grow and be promoted. Working here will teach the value of hard work.

    Cons

Human resources nor management know how to handle conflicts among workers. Management tends to play favorites with hours.

    Pros

Great for a part time job not worth the hassle for a career. Great for college students with food discount.

    Cons

At my store, my manager plays politics and does not cross-train others. Does a decent job, but does not think proactively. Only schedule you from 5-10 pm

    Advice to Management

Make sure the managers you hire or promote have decent communication skills and an as actual as bility to managej
