I worked at Papa John's part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Flexible hours, most of the shift is spent out of sight of management

    Cons

Trash wages supplemented only tips. You're relying on the generosity of an increasingly penny-pinching society to make even minimum wage, since the pay on the road is just 4.50 an hour. No benefits for non-fulltimers, obviously, and lol if you're gonna get fulltime without slaving for a year or more.

    Advice to Management

Get right with the gods, cause there's no mercy for the likes of ye beyond the veil.

I have been working at Papa John's full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

None, there are plenty other choices out there

    Cons

Turn around, don't walk,Run! Company has worse management in Cranberry. Said $1,000.00 bonus,ha ,we never saw it. Management doesn't have a clue and don't care about their drivers at all. By the time you get a day off you will sleep it away because you are still on the road half that day. Don't Do IT!

I worked at Papa John's full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

There are no pros. waste of gas, wear and tear on car.

    Cons

General manger is a pot head, grungy, and hits on his female drivers such as myself, when denied. he creates problems. Voice is not heard. Other drivers who are his buddies get the best tipped routes.

    Advice to Management

Watch your so called General Manager.

    Pros

Great place to work for, I really like it

The general manager keeps scheduling me during my class hours on purpose so I can not go to school like we agreed when I was hired so I have to quit

    Advice to Management

Stop playing with employees were human too

I have been working at Papa John's part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Tips, but they are taxed, so really much of a pro

    Cons

Only make like $3 an when delivery of pizza and hope to make enough tips in an horse to make minimum wage. It really socks and is not fair. They already charged a $2.99 fee for delivery and hope we get any additional tip at the mercy of the customer. Write should get paid minimum wage at all times, in store do work and delivering Pizza. So, we are delivery drivers but still got to empty trash, clean, wash dishes, etc. Totally are taking advantage of delivery drivers. Papa John's should be ashamed of this, with all the money the make. How much do they pay Peyton Manning, what the he'll does he do for the company. Papa John's should be investigated for this. Isn't $3.00 per hour below the minimum wage and isn't that against the law. I pay taxes on the tips I get even, it is ridiculous.

    Advice to Management

Drivers should be paid minimum wage no matter what, our tips get taxed.

I worked at Papa John's part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Get to drive in your car.

    Cons

You get paid 50% when you are on a delivery. No set hours meaning good luck having this be your only job. Any person can be a manager, regardless of how abysmal they are at their job. Managers have very little training on how to treat people, and there are no consequences at all for bullies. Even my general manager belittled and laughed at me several times during my employment here.

    Advice to Management

"People are priority always" Is part of your slogan, and yet I have never felt like I was respected or valued when working with PJs. I was fired because someone harassed me until I didn't feel safe to be at work / driving around in public. I had been harassed / belittled by this person several times before this, too; with zero repercussions for him. This company is a greed-filled joke.

    Pros

    Nothing. Absolutely nothing. Nada. Nope.

    Cons

Everything. Just everything. Expect sexism and really incompetent employees and leads and management.

    Advice to Management

Make sure you have management experience BEFORE you even think about delving in, or you'll screw up big time.

    Pros

    Good people to work with

    Cons

Shifts are usually 2-3 hours long and are based on how much profit the store is making in a given day
Hardly any money (100-200 dollar paychecks every 2 weeks)
    No hours
    No advancement opportunities
    No raises

I worked at Papa John's part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

For much of the day, you're your own boss, out on the road delivering pizza.

    Cons

I was lied to as to how much I would make before taking the job. The in-store management is questionable at best ( I worked under a Jugalo - Google it!) The corp is stingy, greedy and not employee oriented. You are a replaceable light bulb.

They have NO regular breaks or meal times. It's probably illegal.

    Advice to Management

In some markets, you're pay is WAY below market. Wake up. I'd tell you to care more about employees, but I know Papa John is deaf.
