I worked at Papa John's part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Compensation (tips), met some awesome people, easy job

    Cons

Management was a little too lax, a lot of people were lazy, understaffed so often ended up working longer than expected (during night shift) also while maintaining another full-time job, no holidays off no super bowl off

    Advice to Management

    Be more serious

I have been working at Papa John's full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Job Security- the turnover rate for employees is insane, if you want work you will get it.

    Cons

You don't get paid enough to work in the store, even the shift leaders who are basically in charge of running the store when they are there don't get paid much. And if you're not a driver you are going to be working hard on your feet. Then there are times when it's slow and that is really boring. Anyway, you will learn how to everything pretty quickly and can move up to shift leader within a year, after that you can become an MD, then a GM.

    Advice to Management

Pay your in-store workers more! They work really hard.

    Pros

Good job for while you are in high-school. Overall, good food service and discount for employees.

    Cons

Not many benefits. Depending on who owns the franchise, the work environment is a variable.

I have been working at Papa John's part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Flexible hours, family-like friendly staff, open to suggestions, best pay (I know bc I researched and plus I worked for another top three pizza chain for two years prior). (Papa johns actually tells customers over and over the delivery is not a tip) and they pay their drivers both gas and enough for wear and most tear of vehicles. (Depending on what u drive. For example drive a tractor trailer to deliver ur not getting tractor trailer gas prices lol)

    Cons

Sometimes u need to speak up and say hey I need this or that but truly they do their best to ALWAYS address areas of concern and make you feel worth it. Anyone who doesn't play a good role, has bad attitude, doesn't usually get to work there. So smile 😊😊😊🚙🚕🚗

    Advice to Management

Keep up the good work! Dedicated to fresh hot pizza with the finest ingredients is one thing, but truly, they are also highly dedicated to their customers and their employees. When they say join the Papa John's FAMILY, they mean it.

I have been working at Papa John's full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

VERY FLEXIBLE schedules, decent compensation around 12-14 an hour average for a delivery driver, minimum wage for an instore (production cook, cashier, order taker) and hourly management can make between 10-12 an hour.

    Cons

If you like evening and weekend work not a bad gig at all! Sometimes I have some not so highly profitable delivery shifts however i just keep on telling myself that it will all average out and thus far it has!

    Advice to Management

At this time I don't really have much to say. I work in a store that is well ran and the employees generally get along well with each other.

    Cons

-Only 25 cents above minimum wage, $7.50

    Advice to Management

I worked at Papa John's full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

The company has great culture, and really does deliver some of the best products in its market.
This is a great opportunity to learn management skills. The upper management is top notch, and takes the training to a personal level. Some of the best training and coaching in this segment.

    Cons

If you work for a franchisee, there is less potential to move up.
In general, the hourly requirements are very poor. This job is not great if you want to have a family or a social life outside of work.

    High turnover rate.

    Advice to Management

Don't overwork the bottom line, that leads to burn out.
