    Pros

    Flexible Schedule
    Easy work load
Enjoyable workers (at least in my store)

    Cons

    Corporate always in your business
Lots of rules/regulations that make no sense

    Advice to Management

Be ready to be be-littled by the corporate inspectors

I have been working at Papa John's full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

They care about the employee in fact the company's first priority is the employee.

    Cons

There are a lot of changes all the time so it's hard to get used to the promotion you are supposed to answer the phone with.

    Advice to Management

Cross train everybody that you can. Give incentives all the way from the top to the bottom.

I worked at Papa John's part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Occasional free food. 50% off employee discount. It's tight-knit, so there is a chance to make friends. Scheduling is very flexible.

    Cons

Minimum wage, of course. A living hell on Fridays and Saturdays or when there is the 50% off online deal. Phones ring off the hook and customers swarm around the cashier, glaring and demanding.

    Advice to Management

There is no such thing as being "over staffed." Stress would be reduced if all calls were taken at a call center. Stick to your promise of giving raises because… people may actually stay!

    Advice to Management

I don't really have much other than helping drivers move on to better positions and understand delays on the road.

I have been working at Papa John's full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

50% empoyee discount, everyone hates corporate and Papa John so that's good

    Cons

The job is so stressful and heavy. I've become dehydrated and nearly blacked out a few times because the environment is not suitable. Also the company doesn't give you any breaks no matter what. Open - close? Nope, zero breaks. Also only making $4.50/hour to do this? Worst job I've why had. Thankfully I have a different full-time job I work as well that actually treats me decently. Papa John is a glorified slave owner

    Advice to Management

At least call me a slave instead of "Pizza family". That would be some welcome honesty

    Pros

It is what it is kind of place. If you dont click with the people that work there....might as well move on.

    Cons

Franchised locations absolutely do not ever give raises, nor are they interested in any way in employee retention

I worked at Papa John's full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

The main pro is that you get cash daily. You need not wait for your paycheck to have a little pocket money.
The job isn't stressful if you're good with people. You don't have to bring any worries home.
    You get paid for mileage.
Finally, there is free food at times. When an order is messed up, or someone cancels, or a manager is just feeling generous, the workers are allowed to eat it.

    Cons

The primary con is that it destroys your vehicle. I had never had problems with my vehicle before. Within the six months that I was working there, my car probably was in the shop a dozen times for various problems. Most of the money that I made was funneled into fixing my car so that I could continue to work.

    Advice to Management

The amount of people making the pizzas, removing them from the ovens, cutting them, and boxing them needs to be increased. So often the pizzas were going out the door 30 minutes or more after the order had been placed.

    I worked at Papa John's part-time

    Pros

Many slow days and easy to work with coworkers

    Cons

management can't schedule correctly and most times would not work and just stay in the office

    Advice to Management

hire better general managers to run the store
