I have been working at Papa John's part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

The job has great job security so there's little chance of getting fired unless you just don't do your job. With how busy the place gets you'll get plenty of hours.

    Cons

Being a franchise, the owner is more involved, which in this case isn't good. The place is run poorly with terrible management and employees that don't care about the work they're doing.

I worked at Papa John's part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

This is great easy money, and the management is very easy going while at the same time expecting you to be responsible to keep busy in store during a lull. This was a great experience

    Cons

It can get a bit hectic because of a lack of drivers at times, but that just leaves more opportunity for you. Just keep busy and you'll love it

    Pros

Make lots of money, depending on where you are. I get lots of tips in Hyde Park!!!

    Cons

Don't work at one in a lower class neighborhood, might not make any money, or you just might get jacked for what you do have

    I worked at Papa John's part-time

    Pros

Easy going environment, most people are likable, GM supports you and your mistakes by showing you options rather than shaming you. When its good-its fantastic!

    Cons

Unreliable co-workers, having to cover other people's shifts ALL THE TIME, inconsistencies between managers.

    Advice to Management

Hold employees accountable when they don't show up and/or don't do their job while at work, then follow through with that accountability. IE. 1 no-call-no-show=1 write up, once they hit 3, the employment is terminated. When an employee calls out, having a valid reason (dr appt) make sure they send you a Dr note for proof. Holding employees accountable will help make the environment more pleasurable. Team work is one thing, constantly doing another person's job is another.

I worked at Papa John's full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

The employee discount was decent (50% off)
Some of the people were nice and I liked my manager
You could move up to management if you wanted pretty easily

    Cons

It's a fun job if you don't want to make money
Sometimes you would net less than minimum wage after paying for gas and maintenance for your car, should be another lawsuit honestly
Garbage benefits and terrible culture in corporate
Still expected to work every holiday and when the weather was dangerous

    Advice to Management

Make the higher ups pay employees a decent amount

I have been working at Papa John's part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

If you drive full time, you'll make pretty ok money. The manager worked with me on my schedule well.

    Cons

The general manager makes 70k/yr salary. Everyone else make below poverty level, even assistant managers. The entire company is predicated on employees content to live in poverty, and it's just gross.

    Advice to Management

    Pay people more.
