    flexible hours, Christmas and Thanksgiving off, Good money, advancement opportunities, and work more than one position, works around school schedule, part time or full time positions

    Cons

    have to work other holidays, work weekends, work nights, draft days, poor management communication, got to get own shifts covered even when sick.

    Pros

    I have received so much experience with managing stressful situations as well as getting ahead of them by properly planning and organizing. I also love how closely I get to work with my staff. You get to know every single persons story and they are automatically adopted into my family.

    Cons

    Restaurant industry is both physically demanding and requires a great deal of your time. It is a great fit for people perusing restaurant and hospitality careers or college students.

    Advice to Management

    Use your time off to do things with your family, friends, and for yourself! Always remember that you are the leader and you are responsible for how the shift is run so be sure to treat everyone with kindness and respect. You couldn't make it happen with out them.

    Pros

    Amazing opportunity to make money in tips. Amazing food. Great general manager.

    Cons

    A lot of favoritism shown by management staff to select employees based on personal relationships. IE big top sections, banquets, early off times during slow days, holiday shifts off etc. General manager is fair and hard working but is very disconnected to how his managers treat staff. There very much is a feeling that staff is easily found and replaced, the threat is implied.

    Advice to Management

    Listen to your employees better and if they all are saying the same thing, maybe consider the problem isn't staff attitude.
