I worked at Paradigm Management Co full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

They promote from within. I moved from leasing to assistant to manager at a decent clip. I loved interfacing with my colleagues and VPs on a weekly basis. Everyone shared their knowledge to succeed as a team.

    Cons

Work/life balance but that's just the nature of property management.

    Advice to Management

    Keep up the good work.

I worked at Paradigm Management Co full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

-Is a great company for someone just starting out of college & has no expectations.
-Great Place to be train and gain the experience to transfer to a better job. (1 year top)

    Cons

-Opportunity to grow is based on your manager. If he doesn't like you. You are not going anywhere.
-They have a $3000 dollar deductible on their insurance. So if you get sick you are out of luck.
-They don't pay corporate commission to their employees. No renewals bonus, No delinquency Bonus.
    -Salary is not competitive.
-They have a 401K (Voya Financial) and they will match up to 4 %. However, if you quit after a year or two you won’t get anything they match. In order to get it you have to stay with them for over 6 years.

    Advice to Management

"If you take care of your employees, they will take care of your customers"
A $3000 dollar deductible! Come on.

I worked at Paradigm Management Co part-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Many nice and wonderful people at all levels.

    Cons

Not having a realistic idea of how much time each job takes to complete. I saw this within the apartment management accounting side, the construction accounting side and within the project manager's responsibilities.

    Advice to Management

Follow up with employees to see how changes are affecting their workload. There is a problem when you have several employees saying they have too much work to do.

I have been working at Paradigm Management Co full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Some of the people are very nice and friendly in the corporate office. Very easy to get along with. They overpaid for the position they ask me to fill.

    Cons

They have a very Poor work life balance. Management is very inconsiderate of their employees and tend to look down on you.

    High turnover rate.

    No growth.

    Advice to Management

Be a lot more considerate of your employees and understand they have a life out of the office.

Don't belittle your employees because you think you are better.

I worked at Paradigm Management Co full-time

    Pros

The pay was standard for the industry, benefits were great and not expensive (individual) if you needed a family plan then you were broke essentially. Meeting new people and assisting residents daily kept a smile on my face.

    Cons

Micro-management will be the downfall of this company. There are too many leaders and not enough workers. There is never recognition for meeting goals- the occasional lunch or "good job" would have been nice. If a resident was unruly (cursing and yelling) there was never any assistance from management. They were oblivious to everything.

    Advice to Management

Listen to your employees, they are here for you.

I worked at Paradigm Management Co full-time

    Pros

Depending on the property, you can make a lot of commission. Coworkers were great. A lot of company wide training. Good entry level position.

    Cons

Very LITTLE site specific training, which varies from property to property. Upper management loves to blame everyone else when they're the one setting the prices.

I worked at Paradigm Management Co full-time

    Pros

they help provide low income housing to people

    Cons

paradigm used to be a friendly atmosphere where their employees mattered but everything shifted when new management came in. instead of trying to help employees through their weaknesses they tend to just fire them and pay someone else less money.

    Advice to Management

help your employees out when they are in need. Don't just turn to disciplinary actions
