I worked at Paradigm as a contractor (Less than a year)

    Pros

Working alone is nice. Once in awhile there is one other person.

    Cons

Very low pay. If they think 2 people should do a job, but one person doesn't show, they don't want you to do the project!! Instead you are to go back home...no pay for your time, travel or milage! Really?? I wonder how many of their management would last very long being treated like that.

    Advice to Management

If you have someone show up for the job on time, then with or without another person, they should be allowed to FINISH the job!! Stop annoying the Managers and Team Leads because of one lazy person that didn't show up. Cut them from your payroll. Offer milage or drive time...most companies do, as it is a write off and these are employees that you want to keep. DO NOT changed schedules without talking to the IC first. They may already be booked. Think of others...not just how to 'fill in a calender'. We are REAL people with REAL jobs.

I have been working at Paradigm as an intern (Less than a year)

    Pros

They provide on-the-job training for continuing education. Although it is boring, it is useful to add to a resume and switch up the daily activities.

    Cons

Little room for promotions, pay scale is minimum especially for the high cost of living in the surrounding area

    Advice to Management

Higher wages or atleast a higher incentive

I have been working at Paradigm as a contractor (Less than a year)

    Pros

Able to set your own work time. And can accept or refuse projects as needed.

    Cons

They dont post projects in the city they hire you for. They give projects that are 1-3 hours in a city that is 1-2 hours drive from you. Work is slow in coming. Rare you will get 2-4 projects posted in the month. They are not loyal to you in anyway common to see postings for your area post on job boards like indeed and simplyhire and that they are now hiring with immediate openings.

    Advice to Management

Stop hiring people as independent contractors and use those who you have hired to work in the cities you hired them in. As it stands no one can afford to work for this company at a decent wage.

I have been working at Paradigm full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Free concerts, great chances to make connections with both management and promoters of major bands and major venues, relaxed but professional atmosphere (no dress code)

    Cons

The pay is not great, and the only chance of moving up is if someone leaves or a spot as an agent opens up and the company decides it needs a salaried agent. No promotion based on simply time with the company, some assistants are at desks for upwards of 5 years.

I worked at Paradigm full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

There have been no pros to this job at all

    Cons

Horrible management, claiming to breed a new type of sales individual. Generally at least 3 people were fired a week. The company preys on people who are unemployed an really need a job or young people entering the work force.

They fail to mention to you that you must get one app a day or they will fire you. Please do not turn down any other job for this job and it's promises of advancement. This is not true.

    Advice to Management

Learn to actually coach and work with associates. Be honest about the job and the amount you have to produce instead of lying during the interview.
