I worked at Paradigm Talent full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

-Great networking experience -Nice office -Free shows, great music roster

    Cons

-Assistants make nothing but aren't reimbursed for countless expenses related to going to shows they're expected to be at -Impossible to get promoted unless you work under a top agent, no matter how qualified you are -Service departments are overstaffed and drain $ from agent teams

    Advice to Management

Actually promote diversity through who you bring up the agent ladder and not just bros

I have been working at Paradigm Talent full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Access to great shows, and opportunities to network. The benefits are good too.

    Cons

There’s no formal training program and nobody is sure how promotions work, other than favoritism/nepotism. The same type of people get promoted over and over again (white, privileged, with a drug problem) so if that’s you, you’ll do great here. Turn over has gotten crazy, but as long as they keep hiring young hungry kids to run through and work to the bone, they don’t care. It’s best to get in, and get out so to... speak because doing the work doesn’t mean anything to upper management.

    Advice to Management

I’ve got nothing for management. They’re paid very well and should figure it out.

    Disapproves of CEO

I worked at Paradigm Talent full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Great benefits, fun work culture, free tickets to shows

    Cons

Ignorant to communication issues, overly money-driven, don't practice what they preach, HR is not on the employees' side -- it's on the money's side, i.e. if you pull in a ton of money, you could kill someone and you wouldn't get fired. If you don't bring in as much money as other colleagues or are there as a support role, you're going to have a very difficult time being heard by HR

    Advice to Management

When the little things are taken care of, the big things take care of themselves.

I worked at Paradigm Talent full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Best roster in the business Free tickets to pretty much any concert imaginable Incredible learning experience for someone looking to get into the industry

    Cons

For one agent you may have a 10/10 experience, for another 0/10 - just luck of the draw Mobility is tough, don't expect to move up quickly or easily Pay is extremely poor Each team is so small that if you happen to get stuck with a mean superior, it'll change your whole experience
