I worked at Paradise Bakery & Café part-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Paradise Bakery & Café is a great place to work at to receive discounts on food, and to learn to first steps of working at a job.

    Cons

You have to deal with customers getting grumpy about food and cleaning a lot. With the right management, it is not a bad place to work.

    Advice to Management

Working here is only good if the management knows how to communicate appropriately with their staff. From my experience serving as a supervisor, it is important to know how to motivate fellow employees to work.

    Pros

Great school hours, opens at 4 and your out by 9 or 11. Lots of free time and 'gaps' between customers.

    Cons

My main issues with the job were inconsistent hours, impatient customers, low wages, and the amount of time it takes to get an airport badge. For the first two months you need an escort to use the restrooms.

    Advice to Management

Rumors that hours were adjusted before payroll was sent each week. I however, loved my team I worked with. Everyone was hardworking, nice and respectful.

I worked at Paradise Bakery & Café (Less than a year)

    Pros

There are a few pros for working at Paradise bakery, you meet some great co-workers. There is also Friendly Managers & Supervisors. You make a decent amount of money if you want to work full time and get great hours. They're pretty flexible as well.

    Cons

One thing about working here is that you will get overworked. You will be given many tasks and responsibilities. It's a lot of work for very minimal pay. There's not that much room for career advancement as well and very minimal benefits.

    Advice to Management

Take care of your employees. Hold meetings where they talk about what change should be made. Offer help when a worker needs help.
