I have been working at Park Place Dealerships full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Hands-down best training and growth opportunities, lots of camaraderie and team building get-togethers, catered lunches on Saturdays, management that is genuinely interested in your well being. Pay in sales is top notch, great benefits. Plenty of opportunity for paid time off; two weeks of vaca per year, every year (once you hit 10 years you get 3 weeks per year), sick pay, etc. Great discounts on vehicles.

    Cons

Poor communication between sales and service departments. We're all on the same team. Let's communicate effectively. You'll get 6 paid holidays a year, including your birthday. Do not expect to have any vacation the last quarter of the year. Time off during this time period is strictly controlled and usually not accepted.

I have been working at Park Place Dealerships full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Good Pay Plan if you can get to the bonus, only people who has work there for 20 plus years get repeat customers.

    Cons

Don't promote from within at all, good old boys club, worse customer service revolving door for service advisors, too much pressure to sell cars, everyday un-necessary meetings.

    Advice to Management

don't mimic Sewell marketing becasue your service suck. Sewell promise what they deliver. Get out of the office and meet the clients, just printing the paper work is not sufficient.

I worked at Park Place Dealerships part-time

    Pros

Great pay, really nice building, employees are friendly. You get to be in a fast paced work environment. Work is never really boring, there is always something to do and a lot going on.

    Cons

They want to hire college students so they can promote you at graduation... Yet they get mad when you have more then 3 classes (regular time is 4). Also don't expect to go anywhere around the holidays. That's when it's the busiest.

    Advice to Management

If you want to have employees who are still in college, you need to be willing to work around their schedules. As a student, school comes first and work is second. If you really want college students then you need to work on understanding that.

I worked at Park Place Dealerships for less than a year

    Pros

Nice atmosphere its definitely a job for guys that love cars, and have a vast knowledge about them. When i worked I enjoyed every bit of it because I'm a big car guy.

    Cons

Sales can frustrating and the pay varies depending on commission so there may be a lot of pressure to sell a minimum amount of cars when you start off to meet certain goals. Pay could be better for Interns. For technical jobs do require certifications from schools such as UTI.

    Advice to Management

    Management was very supportive
