I have been working at Park Ridge Health full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Overall the company is good to work for. The COMPANY. Certain departments need to be looked at more closely. Benefits are decent. Most the people are friendly and supportive. If you find a good department to work for then the experience is great.

    Cons

HR on site is challenging and pay could be better. On boarding is hard, orientation is lacking, and on the job training could use some work. I have worked in several different departments and each one needed more staff or time to train new employees and make them feel welcome. It took me a long time to feel comfortable in most the positions I held due to lack of training.

    Advice to Management

Improve the orientation and training in the jobs. Retention is suppose to be important there (or that is what they say) but I have been here for over a year and have lost count at the number of GOOD people I have seen leave due to lack of training and bad bad management in certain departments.

I worked at Park Ridge Health part-time

    Pros

    There are absolutely no pros.

    Cons

They treat you like the work force of the 1920s talk to you like a dog. Rip patients off under the guise of being "Christian". Little to no training then throw you into the trenches. It's the good ole boy system out there. If you cheat, steal or lie you will fit in perfect. If you are honest forget it. If there were a minus 10 that's what I would give them.

    Advice to Management

    Get rid of them all.

    Pros

NONE, NONE, NONE, NONE, NONE (min. 5 words)

    Cons

I can't give negative stars. This is the worst company I have ever worked for in my life. They are a religious organization full of liars and hypocrites. They have lied to me since day 1. HR is a joke, they don't do anything to help employees. Management is worthless, liars just looking out for themselves. Doctors and nurses are perfect and everyone else is wrong. That must be why they were caught buying them cars and other illegal activities. Shut your mouth and do your job or leave. You are here to work, not talk, unless it about the bible.

    Pros

from the outside it may seem as if people really care

    Cons

nuresing staff are childish unprofessional..at night they think it's one big party especially in er the content and loudness of there conversation is highly inappropriate doctors includes himself in all the fun..very sad and disappointing where there to provide a healing enviroment not a night club or stripper bar.

    Advice to Management

moniter er nights more closer enforce the rules of conduct and clean house of those that are there for the wrong reasons. Please , above all...teach them to use there inside voices patients deserve a healing enviroment

I have been working at Park Ridge Health full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Good pay but thats only benefit they provide

    Cons

Company is all about squeezing as much money out of patients as possible. Most departments are basically designed to scam money, not provide care.

    Advice to Management

Focus on helping patients and treat them as they should be treated, not as dollar signs.

    Pros

Great Benefits and hours. Christian based company so if you are religious then you will feel right at home.

    Cons

Lots of cliques. Atmosphere is a lot like high school. Managers aren't friendly unless you are brown-nosing them.

    Advice to Management

    Grow up

    Pros

Friendly employees and management. I definitely received the resources and guidance to complete my work tasks.

    Cons

A lot of negativity surrounding employee wellness for some reason. Hours dependent on hospital census. HR was unwilling to negotiate pay.
