I worked at Park Ridge Health part-time

    Pros

    There are absolutely no pros.

    Cons

They treat you like the work force of the 1920s talk to you like a dog. Rip patients off under the guise of being "Christian". Little to no training then throw you into the trenches. It's the good ole boy system out there. If you cheat, steal or lie you will fit in perfect. If you are honest forget it. If there were a minus 10 that's what I would give them.

    Advice to Management

    Get rid of them all.

    Pros

NONE, NONE, NONE, NONE, NONE (min. 5 words)

    Cons

I can't give negative stars. This is the worst company I have ever worked for in my life. They are a religious organization full of liars and hypocrites. They have lied to me since day 1. HR is a joke, they don't do anything to help employees. Management is worthless, liars just looking out for themselves. Doctors and nurses are perfect and everyone else is wrong. That must be why they were caught buying them cars and other illegal activities. Shut your mouth and do your job or leave. You are here to work, not talk, unless it about the bible.

    Advice to Management

moniter er nights more closer enforce the rules of conduct and clean house of those that are there for the wrong reasons. Please , above all...teach them to use there inside voices patients deserve a healing enviroment

    Pros

Good pay but thats only benefit they provide

    Cons

Company is all about squeezing as much money out of patients as possible. Most departments are basically designed to scam money, not provide care.

    Advice to Management

Focus on helping patients and treat them as they should be treated, not as dollar signs.

    Cons

Lots of cliques. Atmosphere is a lot like high school. Managers aren't friendly unless you are brown-nosing them.

    Grow up

    Pros

Friendly employees and management. I definitely received the resources and guidance to complete my work tasks.

    Cons

A lot of negativity surrounding employee wellness for some reason. Hours dependent on hospital census. HR was unwilling to negotiate pay.

    Pros

They pay doctors well, most of the hospital staff is very very nice. It's very easy to get hired as a physician at Park Ridge.

    Cons

The administration is completely clueless. Their business plan is to spend as little money as possible, and try to make everyone think they provide good patient care. When doctors criticize the policies the administration forces on them, the doctors are fired. The administration also utilizes the widely popular "sham peer review" process to get rid of doctors that try to stand up for their patients.

If you don't believe any of this, ask the doctors how long they have been working at park ridge. The turnover is so high, the average length of employment is probably about 2 years. I would say more than HALF of the employed physicians in the hospital have worked at park ridge 2 years less. This is absolutely terrible. Doctors don't change jobs often. Something has to be pretty awful for a doctor to change jobs. Other hospitals have doctors who have worked there 10, 15, even 20 years. Not Park Ridge. High turnover is a sign of a problem with the employer, and Park Ridge has the HIGHEST physician turnover of any hospital I have ever heard of. They think doctors grow on trees, and that they are all replaceable. Unfortunately for them, they haven't bother to ask THE PATIENTS! Patients like to keep their doctors, but this administration has no idea what patients want.

Most of the good doctors have left Park Ridge.

    Advice to Management

My advice to the management of this hospital is to find another line of work.
