They are great people to be around and create a team environment. The pay is excellent for a college student and will work around your schedule.

    Pros

Flexible Schedule. As many hours as you wanted

    Cons

Shoddy management and a constantly changing staff means nobody ever knows whats going on. Felt unsafe and harassed more than once and brought it to managements attention and nothing was ever done. So I quit.

    Advice to Management

To listen to your employees and fix problems they bring to your attention.

I worked at Parking Management Services full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Scheduling is pretty flexible so students can work around their class schedules; many of my coworkers were college students. You get to talk to all kinds of people. Getting tips on a daily basis is a nice perk. The harder you work, the more tips you get, usually.

    Cons

Can entail late nights. No known benefits except for health care, which is not great. Overtime is unpredictable because events can be busier than expected or there may be months with very little work/overtime. Depending on tips is also difficult. Can be physically demanding. The quality of your experience is also highly dependent on the coworkers you have. You have to be very dedicated and interested in many years of employment in order to advance to a significant pay increase. At this level of commitment, because of the nature of the business, the job can be very invasive to your personal life.

    Advice to Management

More and better benefits would motivate employees and make the low hourly wages more palatable.
