    Pros

If you like blending into the wallpaper and don't have ambission to grow, Parsons is a great company. Overall they're just an average engineering firm. 401k match is good. Health care is average.

    Cons

Lack of motivating elements to maintain good workers, HR treats employees as if they are numbers. User names are numbers so that makes sense. As others say, no bonuses or profit sharing. Parsons 9/80 scheduling with holidays is a joke. Don't expect time off if you aren't already scheduled to work on a holiday. No motivating factors to perform.

    Advice to Management

Start a bonus program for higher achievers as rewards on time under budget achievement. And fix the loop hole in the 9/80 schedules for holidays.

I worked at Parsons Corporation (Less than a year)

    Pros

Great people and company benefits. People are family oriented company is not.

    Cons

Company is not very forthcoming with it's employees on changes that would affect employees employment and family.

    Advice to Management

People understand the value of the company being financially sustainable and viable but if the employees do not feel there is a work life balance or appreciated, then the hunt for quality personnel would be futile. Pay people their worth and open more doors to be a family oriented or mindset company.

    Pros

Great place to start a career but plan to leave in 2-3 years. Work schedule can be flexible. Working at home is possible.

    Cons

Management is out of touch with workers. CEO came to office and never walked around to meet staff. Young people are leaving because there is a lack of promotions and raises.

    Advice to Management

You are losing young workers. These young people are the future of the company.

    Pros

Benefits are good, 401K program is decent but could be better. Work is flexible, not too much travelling to and from different sites.

    Cons

401K program could have a higher match, many other companies have higher matching percentages. Some management issues during restructuring of the company. Not a whole lot of areas to move up in the ladder, takes a long time.

    Advice to Management

Don't make things so confusing; simple is better sometimes. Don't restructure things so often, makes for a lot of confusion.

    Pros

More than half the company is in MEA where women have few opportunities.

    Cons

Much time and money spent on acquisitions that never materialize resulting in overhead cuts that hurt organic growth.

    Advice to Management

Figure out how to do acquisitions or put that energy into organic growth.
