They use older software development technologies and even though they are in process of transitioning to Agile, they still have a long way to go.

    I worked at Partnership full-time

    Pros

The salary and some of the staff

    Cons

Back stabbing, bullying singling out those they do not like to apportion blame to when things go wrong. Unprofessional management. Terrible managers.

    Advice to Management

Choose those with experience, not your drinking buddies or brown nose people, that ruin other people's careers to take the heat off how useless they are.

    I worked at Partnership full-time

    Pros

The sales floor had a great positive vibe, the teams all worked under great managers. I felt like I could easily approach management of all levels. Training was continuous from when I first started till the very end. Incentives are very desirable as were the bonuses.

    Cons

Phone targets could mean that sales team were making meaningless phone calls in order to hit talk time.

    Advice to Management

I do not have any advise to give to the management team. Everyone was great to work with and did everything they could to aid development and promotions

I have been working at Partnership full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Very capable and dedicated employees. Positive and friendly working environment. Benefits from its current size.

    Cons

Merger with Just Retirement to create JRP Group means it's unclear if it's positive attributes will be affected.

    Pros

Well, the Partnership reputation is certainly a factor. I would be proud to work for a company with such a long history of leadership in the industry.

    Cons

Lack of flexibility in working hours and work from home.

    Negative Outlook

I worked at Partnership full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

They really look after staff, plenty of incentives, social events etc.

    Cons

Small company mentality. Sometimes decisions lack common sense and are done 'by the book'.

    Advice to Management

Lots of pressure on staff to get 100% quality every single month, and when quality slips, it's taken very seriously which makes you too scared to do any work.

    Neutral Outlook

I worked at Partnership full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Really good atmosphere and genuine belief that products & services offered had excellent benefit to consumers; not just to generate profit.

Partnership looks after it's employees and also pays well in comparison to competitors (in my experience).

    Cons

Could take a long time to get things done and as a newly listed company there was still quite a 'small company' mentality/outlook on certain things. Lack of ownership was one particular issue faced when trying to push through change (business improvement off the back of complaints data).
