    Pros

Good exposure to beginners. The work environment is great.

    Cons

The compensation isn't great for interns, would've been good if more. Also they don't convert to full time for international students.

I worked at Paslode full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Gained some marketing exposure and that's about it...I am really struggling to meet the 20 word requirement for this field.

    Cons

Bottom line focused and no communication between brands. Absolutely horrible management that does not reward or positively impact staff members. Manager bullies employees and fellow coworkers, berates team members and belittles work. At one point during a team meeting I was asked how I ever passed an English class or if I even bothered to take one. HR was hopeless and did little to intervene when approached by these issues. Staff input is utterly useless because unless you are a at certain hierarchy level, you are seen as the bottom of the barrel a merely a work horse. If you are early in your career do yourself a favor and look elsewhere.

    Pros

Met some nice friends. coworkers were great!

    Cons

Where do I start. 9 sales reps have left in last year. Upper management has no clue how to treat employees or customers. Employees are leaving from all segments, but finance, sales, engineering, customer service, marketing and so on. Very high turn over with employees started around 2013. STAY away from this company!!!! Rumor has it that one of the sales reps who just left was stiffed out of the year end bonus even though they left in mid January. VERY unclassy company

    Advice to Management

All of upper management should be replaced with the exception of one regional manager. They are completely out of touch!

    Pros

Paslode was a good place to work with terrific employees. The products were generally of exceptional quality and highly regarded by the trade sector.

    Cons

The global changes being driven by ITW have changed Paslode and to some degree it's culture. The company is becoming known as "arrogant" and hard to deal with.

    Advice to Management

The management team need to support the employees better. They also need to look at innovation to drive the product group further.
