    Pros

    Good people working here.
    Good Medical/Dental/Vision insurance.
    401K matching is available.

    Cons

Since Pasona is a service provider (outsourcing), you will be expected a high level of hospitality and professional knowledge of Recruiting/Payroll/Accounting depending on your job.

    Advice to Management

Communication of management and staff can be improved: sharing company visions and values will encourage staff to be proud of what we are doing.

    Cons

Poor benefits and non unified managerial staff (who your boss is will make a difference in how you are reviewed or succeed)

    Pros

Very good for beginner. You will be training by experienced worker well. There are training cource and meeting too. These are helpful.

    Cons

PASONA is very good for beginner but is not good for experienced person. And should not work for a long time. There are many strict rules such as.... You have to ask permission in advance for overtime or you have to report if you made mistake even though a small mistake.

    Advice to Management

If you don't have experienced for accounting and payroll, you will be training and being able to ask questions. So take advantage of this training period!

I have been working at Pasona NA full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Coworkers are nice. They expertize in different professions or new-grads before pasona.

    Cons

    Absolutely Horrible management.
The newer managemt office is the worst because the manager does not know how to manage employees. The manager needs to create some positive attitudes rather than finding mistakes and just blaming on employees. This is really sales-focus management, so management does not care its employees. The system of the company makes stressful, under-pressure environment. Even though it is exempt position, the taskes which individuals get are overloaded and many of employees are necessary to do overtime. There are so much turn over because of the lack of management skills. Even if I get more tasks in my job duties, my salary never goes up. Feels like the company only hires Japanese in a particular location. That may causes a lack of diversity. The salary is not really reflect on the job with so much overtime. The management is unfairly treated their employees.

    Advice to Management

Longer you are in the company does not necessary make a good manager. Some managers are simply not be able to retain good workers. There is no hope for the future.

I have been working at Pasona NA full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

You can almost do what you want if you have passion. Great coworkers and great teams. The salary is not competitive, but they are better among the companies in the same industries and every way.

    Cons

Since the branches are so spread out, it is hard to motivate employees in small branch. Also, since this is Japanese company, over 90% of employees are Japanese. That been said, the conversation at workplace is in Japanese.

    Pros

Good place to start your professional career. Client industries vary, and you can explore what you really pursue your career to be directed.

    Cons

Bad Management. Poor leadership and lack of accountablity internally and externaly. Too much OT going on for every department. Unique vibe of "We are the BEST" while they really aren't. Most quit after 2-3 years, and that tells what kind of company it is.

    Advice to Management

Office culture needs to be fixed.
