I worked at Passport Health full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    •Some co-workers are cool.
    •Casual attire
    •Easy job

Still trying to figure out what I actually liked seeing as the position was VERY repetitive & boring. I was so cold I barely could focus half the time.

    Cons

•COLD office, I cannot stress this enough. I came to work in my big winter coat.
•Messy office drama; the managers talk about everybody then smile in their face.
•Cameras to watch your EVERY move.
    •Pay
    •1 bathroom
•Barely any snacks to keep you going throughout the day

    Advice to Management

Pay your temporary employees more than $12.00/hr it won’t kill you since they won’t be there long anyhow. Don’t use cameras to spy on employees (micromanaging employees is bad business). Get the heat fixed in the office ASAP.

    Cons

    For profit, training not comprehensive

I have been working at Passport Health full-time

    Pros

Work independently, people are usually happy to come in, nurse hotline can usually answer any questions immediately

    Cons

Manger is out of state so you have to do everything by phone or email. Not enough time set aside to chart

    Advice to Management

Give at least 15 min per client to chart. When the day is packed with clients, 30 minutes is not enough time to get it done

I worked at Passport Health full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Flexible work schedule, friendly team, and unlimited opportunities to learn

    Cons

Witnessed slight amount of office politics when clear communication could have resolved each discrepancy

    Advice to Management

Go the extra mile for all employees, not just a few within a certain crowd or role. Every man/woman plays a key role.

I worked at Passport Health full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Casual work atmosphere, catered lunches once a month, overtime accepted, decent insurance benefits, all other departments than call center run smoothly and with integrity

    Cons

High turnover rate, employees constantly reminded they are replaceable, favoritism and politics a huge issue, new call center manager did not follow through with promises of a more employee friendly/welcoming call center, employees not valued and disciplined based on hear-say, low employee moral

    Advice to Management

Follow through and employee recognition are of the most important qualities of management. Taking on supervisory role of multiple departments seemed to cause management to lose focus on original call center team. Stress is visible and felt in this company which falls negatively on other employees.

I worked at Passport Health part-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    Flexible hours!
    No doctors on-site!
10% commission pay! Good opportunity to make $.
    Low-stress, interesting work!
    Generally good co-workers and bosses!
Clean, modern office spaces in high-profile locations.

    Cons

The focus is on selling vaccines and products - making money for the franchise owner.
Patients are ambushed into a full hour appointment and often surprised they are paying to sit through an entire consult that's basically a sales pitch. Beware franchise owners trying to squeeze as many appointments into a day as possible and overloading nurses with too much responsibility. Most sites require RNs to "prescribe" medications (that are approved by an offsite provider before going to pharmacy) - this toes the line of scope of practice and carries a lot of liability most RNs aren't okay with taking on.

    Advice to Management

Re-think the approach to prescribing - many RNs aren't comfortable making "prescriptions" based on standing orders. Don't try to force blood from a stone; there's only so much RNs can cram into one hour with a patient.

I worked at Passport Health part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    Can be a fun atmosphere

    Cons

There are a lot. Unprofessional and loosely managed, extremely low pay for what is expected, no benefits, rude and condescending behavior from those that have been there a little while.
If you don't mind being treated poorly, talked down to, working with marginally trained individuals then this might work for you. Otherwise, steer clear of this place.

    Advice to Management

It won't be considered so I won't bother. They are interested in making money no matter what. They won't let anything get in the way of that.

    Pros

Very nice employees to work for. Well organized. Work independent. Enjoyed all the Flu Clinics I did. Contracted companies were all welcoming. I mostly like all the clients I gave flu shots because everyone had fun.

    Cons

I would have like to work more hours.

    Advice to Management

    Thumbs up!!!!!

    Pros

    It's Not worth mentioning really.

    Cons

This company should be shut down. How management gets away with some of the actions they do, I'm surprised it hasn't been. The amount of nepotism is astounding and the way employees are shifted between positions and job duties makes absolutely no sense. "Human Resources" consist of one incapable individual and is basically a joke. Witnessed countless violations. Attrition is in the high 80%. Corners are cut in almost every aspect of the business. Not a professional establishment by any means. Do not apply here.

    Pros

None. Not even one! Taking a dump in this place was a nightmare!

    Cons

Management, leads, lies, deceptive practices, low pay and bonus, sophmoric staff and management. I could increase the list ad infinitum!

    Advice to Management

They don't listen anyway. Poor training from Director all the way down to the lowly trainer.
