I worked at Pastry Art full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

I truly loved the people I worked with and the desserts are DELICIOUS! They make you feel important and part of the team. Everyone is so sweet and helpful when you have questions. Plus you get to try desserts all the time..who wouldn't like that!

    Cons

Honestly the only con I have to write is that the sales position I was in just wasn't a great fit for ME. The company as a whole is great and the only reason I left was for a great opportunity with a corporate company!

I worked at Pastry Art full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Benefits are available and product is available to take home.

    Cons

Freezer doors would come off their chains trapping people inside. Black mold was growing in the back where product was stored. Employees were unhappy and either forced to work overtime or not even make 40 hours. Severe lack of management to get things done in timely manner. People let go without any reasoning or warnings.

    Pros

Decent Salary and the customers are wonderful.

    Cons

Extremely unstable management. Motivations are questionable and employees are treated well one minute and the next minute they are gone. Company is run poorly and is very unorganized. VERY small company and is much like a high schol filled with mean kids who undermine you.

There have been at least 7 people in as many years that were let go without explanantion.

    Advice to Management

Eventually all the turnover will show your customers you are not the one they want to work with.
