I have been working at Path Group full-time

    Pros

•The majority of people that work there, stay there and even have family members there. There's not a lot of turnover.
•Health insurance is expensive and the deductible is way too high, but once you meet it it's not so bad. Insurance is just screwy these days for almost everyone though. However, the fact that they do provide Health, Life, Dental and Vision is a super plus.
•Have sick pay and vacation time, but you are needed in your position so much that it's difficult to just wake up sick and take a day off without affecting others too much. So, you better plan to get the flu.
    • If you are a Courier, you get to use a company car.
    • Everyone shows up and does their job, which in my book, is a total plus.
    • There are tons of places and departments to move around to, so if you don't like your position...you have lots of other options.
    • Pay is pretty good, even for lower-level jobs.
    • You have to screw up a whole lot to get fired, which is fortunate for those who screw up a lot and very unfortunate for those who are trying to do their jobs right.

    Cons

    • I won't name the departments, but there is a lot of gossip and cattiness. Some of the department leads are judgmental and vindictive. Nothing gets done about it because people are too afraid to lose their jobs.
    • Some departments have positions where there is way too much work and not enough hours or workers are provided in order to maintain a good work flow. Then these workers are punished because the job isn't getting done on time whilst they also take away their overtime. So, lots of drama.
    • The company overall needs a major overhaul in how it does things and does so efficiently. Lots of extra paperwork when it's not needed. And if you're looking to complain? Good luck....because then you'll just upset management.
•No bonuses to help the employees feel appreciated.
    • A whole department can get punished for one bad employee's actions.

    Advice to Management

Meet with the people in your departments and talk with them. Ask them how you think their jobs could be easier and more efficient. Let them feel safe in telling you their complaints about a job or their supervisors. Don't expect to trust the managers below you, because I guarantee you there are a lot of people who are not good people and are running their employees into the ground. Give bonuses, even if it's just a $50 gift card. Provide a better solution for those working in the lab to have their drinks with easier access. Look to see which departments have too much of a work overload and give them overtime or hire people to work a later shift on top of the normal 9-5. Spend the money on a better scanning system for the couriers (ask them, they will tell you).
I need to reiterate the need for the TOP managers to speak with the employees about their jobs and supervisors without fear of their words being spread like gossip wildfire. There is a lot of drama and people who literally are crying from the pressure and y'all have no clue how hard they work.
Let couriers take their cars home. Help Slide Block Management with the work load. Try to shop for a better insurance plan. Offer more overtime. Provide more stand-up desk options. Offer more incentives and ways for the employees to invest in the company. Put a TV in the break room. Buy the couriers rain jackets. Make sure to hire more competent employees. And finally, reinforce that Politics and religion does NOT belong in the workplace. Too many people with too many opinions and judgements working in tight quarters.
Oh, one more thing...... we love free food ;)

I have been working at Path Group full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

None that I can think of

    Cons

You have management based in Athens Georgia, have no clue what the job entails...you have management whom works on salary leaving during the day getting there nails done, getting there hair done on the clock, most of the time they don't even get into the office until around ten or eleven in the morning, it's disgusting how the higher ups in Nashville tenn allow this garbage to go on ..it could never happen at labcorp or quest , they would not put up with this stealing of time for nothing in the world an yet no one says anything....they always travel together in one vehicle, everybody has there own accounts but yet they travel together an eat fried chicken up and down the road....this place is a dive..

    Advice to Management

You need to check on why your management employees can get nothing done an why accounts are pulling out...do a stake an watch how they go off the clock an sometimes don't even come to work...

    Pros

Benefits and most the clients you work with.

    Cons

Poor management. No advancement opportunity unless you are a brown nosier. No job security.

    Advice to Management

It doesn't matter what advice is given to management because they do not listen to the Phlebotomist (the face of Pathgroup).

    Advice to Management

For all the riff Raff an start over..

    Pros

Pay was high due to the company having such high turnover

    Cons

Very difficult working environment with very high turnover. Very negative working environment in which employees are not valued and are not trained very well. Pay is good but there is a lot of stress that comes with the higher pay

    Advice to Management

    Invest and value your employees

    Pros

Benefits, but they're not worth the level of crap you have to endure

    Cons

Management. The right hand has no idea what the left hand is doing. Management is incompetent and doesn't give two hoots about employees safety when traveling!!

    Advice to Management

Be uniform across the board!!! Treat your employees in a respectful manner - have some concern for their safety when they travel. Why would you send someone to drive 6 hours round trip to cover a position for 90 minutes??

    Pros

The pay is the only good thing about the company. But... You will stay at that rate. Raises are a joke

    Cons

Working for this company, I would compare it to a factory job but with air conditioning and you get to sit down. I thought that this would be a great company to work for and i had found my career. I was far from disappointed. McDonald's is more professional than Path Group. The expectations from you as a employee are nearly impossible. The managers will start drama and watch it unfold. They themselves will belittle you, yell, cuss, and talk about you and allow others to do the same.. The hours suck. If you leave at your scheduled time they look at you like you committed murder.

    Advice to Management

Start acting like management instead of preschoolers. Listen to employees. Praise them instead of tearing them down.

    Advice to Management

Support you team and they'll support you.
