      Great people, suboptimal leadership

      Pros

      Good pay, very amenable to full-time remote work, nice perks in monthly WFH food stipend and annual WFH equipment stipend. Decent insurance.

      Cons

      No trust from leadership in the front-line employees. Leadership is very prone to micromanage things and is easily angered when things don't go according to plan. They're quite good at squashing individual initiative.

      - Some strong people with great minds - Fully remote - Team bonding is prioritized - Benefits are amazing

      Cons

      - Leadership is all over the place - Little to no people skills when it comes to those in charge - whether its how to talk to people, how to train them, how to help them - Feedback is a one way street at best, lots of big promises and few delivers - Pay is great for engineers, middling for everyone else - They already know what they want, so offering up other ideas won't get you anywhere - They value quick results over long term stability

      Generous pay and benefits, fully remote. Good direct leadership.

      Cons

      Stop me if you’ve heard this one before… startup raises a round of funding and hires a bunch of people quickly, 6 months later and suddenly they’re running out of money and need to make cuts.
