    Pros

    The money was great in banquets, not so much in the restaurant.

    Cons

    They advertise healthcare for service industry, which is rare, but it doesn't start until 9 months of full-time. The company seemed to get rid of everyone before they got the benefit package. Hours were unreasonable, I would be closing dinner service at midnight and have to work a banquet at 5am frequently, always scheduling doubles with clopens. When I was sexually harassed by guests, management refused to say anything to them and instead told me that if I couldn't handle it, they would give my tables to a male server. All tip shared, which is great in theory, but in practice management would over staff and wouldn't make cuts. Management made sure to not have to do any of the physical work themselves and would simply observe. Someone was found to be stealing tips while dividing them among staff and we were never compensated for it.

    -startup environment -unique venue at the New England Aquarium -flexible work from home around events and coverage

    Cons

    -completely overworked and unsustainable workload -no support from upper or lower management -extreme stress from clients and management pressure.

    I learned a lot from the Chefs there and it was such a good experience.

    Pros

    Wonderful team and AMAZING food. There's also a very healthy sense of work-life balance that I really appreciated.

    Cons

    Two words: Chris. Harter. That is the name of the CEO that took over in 2019/2020 and everything went downhill from there. He only cares about the Disney clients that Patina Restaurant Group works with and let every other brand under the Patina umbrella fail. He also doesn't believe in "creative" positions, so marketing and art+style departments were gone shortly after he started at the company. It's quite unfortunate because the company had endless opportunity to take over the fine dining world in Los Angeles again like it did in it's prime. Very unfortunate.
