I have been working at Patricio Enterprises full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

    - Great benefits for Medical and Dental
    - 401k
    - Offsite employees are treated with same respect as PE Staff.
    - Salary's are very competitive within industry.
    - Company is on the ball with respect to fulfilling it's obligations to clients-
    - Great leadership
    - Friendly atmosphere

    Cons

Never had issues with the company, at least nothing to write about. Being under a contract always comes with pitfalls for any employee. You have a great paying job with a company you enjoy....Next year, or 3 you're back on the market looking for another. If you live within range of the company office, you are set. Awesome people to work for. 3 stars on "career Opportunities" because Contracts are temporary and you just never know how long you'll be employed as a contractor but as I indicated, working at the company office (Stafford VA) is where you want to be for the opportunities to improve your career goals.

    Advice to Management

Keep the transparency as it is. You're respected within the industry for a reason and I as an employee definitely respect and appreciate what you folks do for us off site. You deserve a great review after all these years.... Unfortunately my time as a PE employee is coming to a close. Thank you guys!

    Pros

Good co-workers, several work sites. They try not to lose people

    Cons

Small business attitude and benefits. Recently crested the threshold of large business. Not used to that status yet.

I have been working at Patricio Enterprises full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Salary ok for this area (Stafford, VA)
Company does attempt social functions regularly.
    Somewhat flexible work schedule.

    Cons

PTO is minimal, no sick leave.
Team Lead makes his own "rules" regarding ability to take PTO you have on the books.
No telework option, which makes no sense.

I have been working at Patricio Enterprises (More than a year)

    Pros

Great people and they work hard to find homes for people when they lose their contract. The Patricio's seem to be really down to earth and willing to listen/help.

    Cons

Very poor leadership (CONTRACT LEVEL). Leadership makes one poor decision after the other. The strategy to win contracts is to undercut competitors and to do more with less. They seem to win a lot of contracts this way. Unfortunately, this causes the employees on the contract to do the work of two and three people. Multiple employees have left because of this. I have only been here for a short period and multiple people have left with a bad taste in their mouth. I would not recommend this company to anyone. I heard disturbing details before I came on board and I wish I had of listened. This company headed down the wrong path.

    Advice to Management

Management needs to do a better job of who they throw into positions with next to no experience. Bridges are being burned left and right because the wrong people are being put in charge and given authority to make decisions. You are sealing the fate of your company.

    Pros

Patricio Enterprises was one of the easiest jobs I every had as a Supervisor. The work was very simple. "" Before I went to work for Patricio Enterprises I held the position of 2nd & 3rd Shifts Overall Supervisor for 6 years. I had 25 to 30 Government Supervisors (WS-9--WS12) assigned to me as well as 10 to 15 Contract Supervisors (URS), depending on production. With these supervisors there were approximately 550-- 900 employees assigned to these shifts.

    Cons

I quite due to the Site Supervisor accusing me of telling the Depot POC that she and the other supervisor told the employees to slow down because they were working us out of a job. I did not have to tell the POC anything the employees talked and the POC over heard and reported it to upper management. The POC at one time had been one the supervisors assigned to me at night. In other words she did not trust me. I retired from this Depot.

    Advice to Management

It pays to think before you start accusing people of things. I worked for Patricio Enterprises not DLA.

I worked at Patricio Enterprises (More than a year)

    Pros

They have some opportunities in defense contracting. Good place to work until you can find a better opportunity

    Cons

Biased and Discriminatory management issues. Turnover rate where I worked was approximately 80% per year which was very bad for the client (Government).

    Advice to Management

A family owned business. Maybe need to sell it off to someone who can run a business without the nepotism and favoritism.
