I have been working at Paul Davis Restoration

    Pros

they will certify you and will increase your pay rather quickly.

    Cons

management doesnt know there butt from there elbow, they dont try and get work they just sit back and wait for it.. so they end up doing lay offs in the slow season.. no the smarters of the bunch...

    Advice to Management

Look for work to bring in more money, and really look at your employees... some shouldnt even be able to leave their house without a helmet.

I have been working at Paul Davis Restoration full-time for more than a year

    Pros

There are many opportunities for overtime and EMS bonuses. Get paid while traveling from job to job. Each job is somewhat different, prevents the boredom of doing the same thing everyday.

    Cons

The owner treats the office people with more respect than the techs. There is a massive bias towards the women of the office. The owner as well as a few estimators are easily labeled as womanizers. There is more broken equipment than there is working. Office people are constantly playing games and watching videos on their phones, but the second a tech is caught doing so they are in trouble.

    Advice to Management

Keep a 4 man crew even when it's slow, because when it jobs come in big groups it's very overwhelming without that extra help. Stop giving people chance after chance, you have given one person 2 write ups for being tardy, but won't fire them even though they should have had their 3rd and final write up many times now.
