    Pros

Room for growth Management is very in touch with what is going on in the company and takes a hands on approach. (hard to find that in a lot of companies) Competitive wages A culture of caring. from the inside of the company to the dealings with customers. I have never seen a culture like this elsewhere. Benefits Company Events

    Cons

Growing pains - but that is also a Pro.

I worked at Paul Davis Restoration full-time for more than a year

    Pros

    - Took my suggestions to better the company seriously, although they did not have the time to implement them. - Great work/life balance: you are in charge of your schedule as long as you can get the estimates in on time - If you're a trade looking for steady work, PDR can offer it consistently - Once you get the hang of the job, it's pretty simple - company car/driving compensation 50 cents/mile

    Cons

In the first half of my employment, the company was feeling a lot of growing pains and was working through an adjustment period. It started out with all new, inexperienced estimators & project managers which inherently made processes more challenging. However, most of those employees are now fully trained and in the swing of things, but PDR still faces many challenges. - Takes a long time to see a job turned around on the Project manager side - PMs are generally overworked and careless about job costs which can ruin your bonus - Management is also overworked and unable to focus on the things that really need to happen to make the company better. - Coworkers and management hardly ever call you back, hard to get information to do your own job. leads to babysitting. - Trades are careless and disorganized - It takes forever to get any bonus because jobs never close. - Customers are very unhappy

    Advice to Management

There is a lot of change that still needs to happen and lots that is planned to happen soon, but PDR will be light years better as a result! Organization will be key and the managers will need to be sure they are prioritizing what they pay attention to.
