I worked at Paul Fredrick full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    * Management staff was very well organized and dedicated to doing work the right way. There are so many smart people working there!

    * It's an international company headquartered in a small town, so it's one of the best jobs in the area. Decent PTO structure, and solid benefits.

    * Warehouse, call center, and all other departments are in the same location, so you get to know people from the other areas.

    * Once you've earned the trust of your supervisor, work hours can be a little bit flexible. Need to go to a doctor appointment? That's usually fine as long as work is getting done.

    Cons

    * Senior management was at odds with each other often. Projects that were well-planned and considered company priorities would get trumped by someone's spur-of-the-moment pet project. Employees were often left scrambling to achieve a goal that they had not input in creating.

    * Owner is a really good guy, but doesn't seem to want to be involved in the progress of the company. Still collects a great salary of course, and sometimes flaunts it.

    * Started as a small family owned company that grew with success. Having trouble running a bigger company under small company structure.

    Advice to Management

Determine who is in charge of a project, make that clear to everyone, and trust them to be a good leader and do their job. Don't meddle once something has been given clear direction.

    Pros

Great people. The Marketing team is doing programs that most big businesses aren't even trying yet. They are ahead of the curve and you learn a lot.

    Cons

Location - located in Fleetwood, PA there is not much around for either other opportunities or places to get lunch. Offices are also a bit tight given the company growth without expanding facilities.

    Pros

There are no pros to this place

    Cons

Management is atrocious, one person tells you one thing, the next tells you something different. By far the filthiest place to work in Fleetwood. If OSHA stepped foot inside of this place they would shut it down. Zero management experience from the current supervisors

    Advice to Management

Take a management class or get experience first. This is not the 60s, you don't scream at or humiliate other employees

I have been working at Paul Fredrick full-time

    Pros

This company offers many opportunities to learn, within your own department and across other departments.
They have seen a lot of growth over the years and continue to move forward.

    Cons

Senior management is always competing with each other instead of working together to better the company.
Salaries are not overly competitive because they are located in a rural area.
