        Cons

Terrible work/life balance Company has had recent setbacks to its revenue stream and is downsizing. Instead of flattening the org, they are quiet firing individual contributors and line managers. This puts additional stress on the lower level employees who do the brunt of day-to-day operational work while doing nothing about the bloated middle management who frankly seem clueless and are milking the company for all it's worth.

          Pros

Everyone there genuinely wants to win and succeed. It’s a challenging environment to hire because the bar is so high, but it translates into bringing in the strongest talent and best fits for the company leading to better performance and culture fits. Highly principled, tons of autonomy, futuristic organization solving global issues makes for an attractive sell.

          Cons

It takes a while for recruiters and managers to become calibrated due to the hiring bar and understanding the nuances of what the CEO will approve of for hires (still a small company so he still interviews everyone as the last step) but he does have the best interest of the company in mind to bring in those who will be most successful and drive the most impact

                  Pros

Paxos has been a breath of fresh air after coming from previous roles in more traditional corporate settings. The culture is extremely innovative and intellectual, without being stressful and intense. My work-life balance has drastically improved, and every colleague is genuinely a nice and wanting to work together. I used to think I had to choose between either interesting work and a stressful environment, or a mundane role with a friendlier setting. With Paxos, it truly is the best of both worlds. I feel challenged and engaged, but not burnt out.

                  Cons

In an ever-changing digital asset environment, it can be challenging to constantly change approaches and strategies. That being said, this kind of pace forces you to become a creative thinker and has been very fulfilling.

                    Pros

Founder-led organization Mission-driven People-led Learning & growth opportunities The people are one of the best things about working for Paxos. Everyone is high caliber, mission-driven, smart, high performers, but also super friendly and nice. I was looking for a company that had a great mission that would have a global social impact, and creating an open inclusive financial system is definitely something that can affect everyone. I also love how dynamic the blockchain industry is, which means there is always something to learn, and there are constant changes and pivots. If you are someone who is highly adaptive and flexible and enjoys that sort of dynamic environment, this is a great place to work. Paxos has team offsites, which are a great way to create connection in a flexible virtual environment, so I appreciate that leadership values this part of the culture.

                    Cons

Ambiguous environment as expected of a start up environment which means if you're not used to navigating ambiguity, you may experience lack of clear direction or overly manual processes that need reiterating on.

                      Pros

They do a good job selling the company and the role up front. Weekly All Hands meetings keep employees updated on the business. Remote environment

                      Cons

In my opinion, it is near impossible to chart a path to progress with hiring as evidenced by the number of days open in open roles. I saw little to no empowerment at Paxos. I saw a lack of diversity and there did not seem to be a focus to fix it. Before you consider Paxos make sure to do your homework. How long has the role you are considering been open? How many others held that role and for how long and anything you are told in the hiring process.....validate on your own. Talk to people who use to work there, not just employees there. Do a search on LinkedIn.....who else held the role you are applying for and for how long. Reach out and talk to them.

Is it common to get past all 5-6 interviews with all positive feedback to just be left on read? I'm trying to be patient since Turkey5 just happened in the CPG world, but also super antsy to know why they haven't given me any updates (since 11/17).

Is it ok to apply for another position for the same company if I am already currently in the interview process for another position with the company? I feel the recruiter has ghosted me for the current interview since the job posting shows filled on the site but my status in workday is still open.

Two situations, what do I do?: 1. Recruiter A reached out yesterday to tell me I’m invited to round 3 interview. I did not get an invite to accept - do I email and ask for it or wait? 2. Recruiter B said she would call me today at 10:30 because I told her I’m available all day. It’s almost noon and still no call. Do I wait? How long?
