I worked at PayFlex full-time for more than 8 years

    Pros

Able to wear casual clothes; some flexibility is setting work schedule; sometimes possible to work from home.

    Cons

Jobs being sent to India and the Philippines, as Aetna tries to cut costs. American workers losing those jobs, along with the expertise that made the company run smoothly.

I worked at PayFlex for less than a year

    Pros

Many of the CSRs are hard working and will help if they can.

    Cons

Management only trying to save their positions and aren't much help. This does not include all of them, but many of the people in the position to answer much needed questions. The crash course they put new people through is insane. Too much information to learn comfortably and to be put on live phone actions is failure. They have plenty of manuals, but nothing was organized. It never fails to have a call and can't find the answers because they're in a manual that you have to look up and you can't remember which manual you seen this in. The top CSRs give out a lot of BS, I noticed and nothing is being said. Some are even cruel on the phones and nothing is being said.

I worked at PayFlex for less than a year

    Pros

Work life perks, other csrs, technology

    Cons

Managers are lazy and refused to take escalated calls, work hours that do not allow for work life balance, there is no way that you can be sick unless ypur in the hospital dying and then still they lay you off, because you have missed too much work.

    Negative Outlook

I have been working at PayFlex full-time

    Pros

Customer Services department tried there best to resolve the issues but even they didnt had any luck

    Cons

Unfortunately i have to give one star but the claims department sucks. Bunch of illiterate and drunk people are processing the claims. Sorry for the language but without any reason they kept on rejecting multiple claims and will never provide correct reason. Customer service doesnt even have access to the actual reason and then they try their best to explain and keep customer happy. I have to submit same claim 4 times and still didnt got processed. Called 5 times for it and still no result. Customer service kept on raising tickets but no result still.

    I worked at PayFlex full-time

    Pros

PayFlex is a subsidiary of Aetna, so you have good benefits.

    Cons

This is a female dominated organization at all levels and no cultural diversity in the workforce. Is anyone in HR looking at the stats? There is favoritism, double-talk and double standards. I would even say some treatment of employees is unethical - not at all up to Aetna cultural standards.
